12th Blog Post

This week, in contrast to Nickelodeon's site, I wanted to look at CBS's site. The first thing I noticed is that this site is mainly black, and with dark shades of gray that make it more of an adult site. On top, there is a small navigation that links to again, the main parts of CBS that would link to another site. The top has the primary navigation on a gray bar and then there is a slideshow, flash presentation. The same as in Nickelodeon's site, there is an ad, this time is for Cadillac, yet I think it goes better with the site and it looks integrated. The same way, there are a lot of thumbnails dividedinto three columns that show the main links to videos and television shows. At the bottom, there is also the pipeline navigation that includes links to their subsites and just like Nickelodeon had a link to Neopets (who I'm assuming the are affiliated or partnered with for sure) here they have a link to Victoria Secret. They also don't use dropdown menus but they do implement that when hovering over the shows link. This is a great way to say a lot and use the space that has been provided. They have a ton of shows so although this covers the slideshow for a while I think it was the smartest way to approach it.

Also, I noticed at the bottom there are a lot of links to different CBS interactive sites. The links themselves are very simple, even kind of boring, just laid out on the page like a list. And, the hovering state is just underlined so this make is look less crowded since there are a lot of them and a lot of information. Since cbs is about tv, it is really important that they include images and videos to show what thye are about, and I think the retruning user's will probably know where to look for or look for wha they want, and find it. I also like that with the videos in the middle column the users can post a comment about what they think, which it akes really interactive. Overall, I like this site more than Nickelodeons because of the darker shades ratther than the white with light grays. It makes it stand out more and it def. looks like an adult site

Eleventh Blog Post

This week I looked at Nickelodeon's website. I have to say I am very suprised to see the way the website has changed from the time I used to look at it. Now, the site looks more "clean" by the fact there is a white background where there are gray and orange links. Also, the "nick" logo has changed, now its more modern and completely orange. At the top there are small links that take you to other parts of the home site, like nicktoons or nick at nite which are part of nickelodeon but targeted at specific audiences. Then, there is another menu that is speciifc to this site which leads to tto the main things that nick has to offer. This links are in capital orange letters so it is a good idea since they stand out right away, and they go with the logo that is located at the right. There is another navigation that is now represented by images of the main tvshows that nick wants to display. This is a great idea if you are a regular nick watcher and you already know what you are looking for, otherwise you can get a little lost. The first thin right below that is an ad for lucky charms, I think t his is very annoying, but I'm sure they probably had to put it there. Then, there is a little slideshow that had some colorful images. The thing I really like about this are the orange buttons at the bottom that show you which slide you are lookin at, but they move in a very original way. Then the site splits up into ames, videos, and explore, each of them with smal thumbnails that show you what is bein played and watched so you can take a look. This site looks like its divided into 6 parts, a six column grid.

What I noticed is at the bottom there is a huge pipeline navigation. I can tell that there a lot of different parts of this site, like nickelodeon has a lot of different websites linked to it, so the main site is more like the top of the umbrella of these other sites that all link back to the first one. Overall, I think this main site is ok for what it's main purpose is: linkin to all the other smaller sites and present general information about the channel to the public. It is already very loaded with content, so if they decided to go with the white background and the light gray text. I like the new logo, but I do think it might look at a bit more adult and serious than before. The top part of the site, is way too loaded with images in my opinion. I think there is too much goin on visually, so I would try to cut it down a bit, although I don't know how that can be possible since they already have tons of smaller navigation sections.

Tenth Blog Post

This week I looked at the portfolio from photographer Graeme Mitchell. I like the way his main page is just his name really big with just links to the sections of his portfolio. I like how he includes the "about the photographer" link in red at the bottom, so you can note it is a photographer although it's not clearly stated. I think though, that the gray makes it a bit dull, and he could've gone for white instead or another shade of lighter gray, because right now it looks a bit too toned down for me.

I like how the main navigation is just the little boxes centered in the browser. I know he is trying to keep it simple since most of his photography is also black and white, but maybe it's a bit way too simple, since when you go to the portfolio you get a way more dynamic and interactive site that does not match completely the main site.

The way the portfolio works as a slideshow is very cool. I like how you can play the arrow or play button so it takes you through the pictures, however I am not happy at all to see that he didn't include another arrow to go back. I know that you can see the thumbnails and and you can click on a picture if you want to see it again, but it's not the easiest way to access his work, so including a simple arrow for going back would've been very helpful. I do like however, that when you get at the end of the pictures, if you click the arrow 3 times it gets you back to the beginning. That is very useful so it lets you know that you have seen it all, however, he definitely should've included the back arrow. The thing that is really cool is also how he dealt with the secondary navigation which has the links to his portfolio sections. That red link is very noticeable, and I think it's very cool how the navigation drops down and there is a small bounching effect. It makes it even ore dynamic and it adds a more visually engaging user interaction. I think though, that the contact link here does not work very well. In the main page, when you clicked about the photographer you got information about him including the contact info. However, here when you click contact it takes you to outlook so you can write an email. Personally I find that feature super annoying. I don't have it configured in my computer and I just find it super disturbing when it takes you to outlook and this other page opens and what if you just wanted to find out about the guy's information but not email him right away? I think that should defnitely be changed. I like the simplicity, however I would totally change the gray background to white.

Eight Blog Post

For this week, I looked at another portfolio. This time, it was from Colombian artist Maria Luisa Isaza. First of all, the splash page is very visually attractive since it shows you right away an image of her work. I like that when you hover over the enter button, the image in the background changes, although I am not a fan of the sound. I like the sound once, but if you keep your mouse over the button, the sound keeps repeating and it's really annoying. When you enter the site and it takes you to the main page with the thumbnails of her art. I like how she used flash and actionscript to work with the thumbnails and make them interactive. That is the main navigation of the site and it works really well since it's a portfolio and all you need is to see her work. Then again, I am not happy with the sounds it makes when you hover over the images. I think it's not useful to have sounds like that because if you move the mouse all over you get a very disturbing noise. Also, the thumbnails are rather blurry and I think it makes the work look less professional at first.

However, I really like the way the images pop up when you click on them. I like the design of the arrows and the closing X, as well as the title of the image on the bottom. I think it makes it really personalized and it sticks with the site's overall design and color palette. Her work is really amazing and it works really well with the color she chose for the background, which also is not completely solid but has some texture that makes it look old style and vingate like her design. I think that the top where she has the scrambled letters helps break the box and the simple design for the site. However, I think her name does not stand out at all andI would move it down. She can keep the letters on top but she should highlight her name. Also, her contact information is almost impossible to find. The "acerca" button which means "about" is way on top and it just blends with the background. I think that it is a big part of the site since that is where people are going to contact her if they need her to work for them or want to hire for freelance, so hiding it on top is really bad. She also has enough space to just display the information, and I think it's a good idea to just show contact info right away in case someone likes your designs.

What I really liked about this site is how she uses her thumbnails as the main navigation. For a portfolio that is really helpful and it displays the work right away. For my site, I want to think about this idea, however I have way more images to display, so I have to work a way to display them fluidly.

Ninth Blog Post

This time, I looked at Maximilian Bode's portfolio. I looked at this website because I like the really personal feel that goes with his style and that makes his site unique. I find it really cool that he used images for each button and the little green arrows on the sides make it really obvious when you are hovering over a certain button. The site looks very simple yet still very colorful, I just don't like the fact that it's a really small portion of the browser and it is located on the corner. I also think that the way he changes the images like color wise, could make it a bit jumpy, but it works for the playfulness of his site. However, when you go to the drawn section I have a really big problem distinguising how the secondary navigation works. lt says "more", "less" and "strip". But then, when you click "more" the button changes to "less", which I don't know if it means he is going to show less work? It is really unclear. The same thing when you click "iceland" it also gives you the option for "less" so it makes it more clear here that he means yeah, showing less information but it was very unclear at first and I think that secondary navigation is really not well planned at all. Same when you click "strip" and it just moves the "iceland" button up, it's very confusing.

Also, I am not a fan of the scrolling horizontally to have the information displayed. I think people are used to the scrolling vertically and that works best. I do believe it's a good idea though that he included the navigation again at the end so the user won't have to go all the way back. There is a lot of scrolling involved so that was a good move. The contact pages as well as the bio pages are really cool because they are drawn by hand with a sharpie and it totally keeps the style and it makes it look really "illustration" oriented, which is his profession as I am assuming. I think that this site is lacking when it comes to the architecture and organization of his work. The reason I wanted to include it as a post is because I think that it's a good idea to see how other people approach the problem that sometimes coes up with making links look original and making buttons that look different from the regular box that changes color when you hover or the standard html text that can get boring pretty fast. This idea of drawing to convey his profession is very original and cool, I just think it would need a lot of work to make it look better and more professional.

Since I looked at CNN site's last week, I decided to look at a Mexican website for a Mexican newspaper, El Universal.  The first thing I noticed is that the background of this site is also white and very clean. The main navigation is made up of gray buttons with dark gray ont and the selected state is red font. The hover state is a blue gradient and it has a cascading menu, which honestly I am not a big fan of. I think here they made the mistake of making the selected state less noticeable than the hover state, so I think they should've made the selected state a bit more prominent. The colors of the site are white, blue, dark blue and also red.  There is a lot of information so I think it was a good idea to group it. This site also seems like a 3 column grid and it is very well organized in terms of keeping the 3 columns organized. This site also has a Google search bar on top and the pipeline navigation in the bottom, including the copyright information and everything. I really like how they change the font of the headlines in order to make them different.  When clicking on a specific news, it brings you to the information that takes up 2 columns and then you also get more information on the right including more about the most read and visited news. The thing I am not so thrilled about in this site is the ton of ads there are. I know that is very common with news sites but the one about renting houses is not really related to the site. The photogallery is different though, it has a black background with white font.  Here the headlines are no longer blue but yellow, and there is a lot of informaton including pictures from different events, social, cultural, and sports related. If you click on a certain gallery, there is a pop up with a different pictures where you are given the option to select each one. It is paginated and it makes it easier to find a specific picture after you've looked at them all. This site also contains audio, podcast, and animated graphics. The audio is for the radio of the newspaper and you get a small radio section telling you about the specific news. I really like this idea and the way it is organized on the page. I am not so sure it should be in the photogallery main navigation section though.  It doesn't seem like audio or podcast really fits into that category, but I guess it was more grouped like by media.

Honestly, this is a very professional looking site too. The information is well organized, and the headlines handled pretty well, with the change in size and color. The only thing I don't like is that it reminds me of the colors of campusfood.com which is weird lol, but that's more of a personal opinion!

Sixth Entry

For this week I decided to look at CNN's website.  I wanted to see how to deal with a more professional site that is usually really loaded with infromation and media. The first page just shows the CNN logo in white on a red background as a header. The main navigation consists of red buttons with white font. When you hover over the buttons you get a darker tone of red and the selected state is a white background with red font, the complete opposite of the normal buttons.  The font of the site is Verdana which is very easy to read, and there will be a lot of reading taking place since this is a news site. There are many sections in the main navigation, yet I think each one of them is informative and necessary for getting to all the diferent types of stories and news.  The divison of the main page looks like a 3 column grid, which allows for posting pictures and videos along with each news entry. At the top right there is also an option to log in and to do a Google search. The option to log in makes me thing that there's a way you can create an account and personalize the news you want to get and think are more important. The search is useful because you don't have to leave the site if you need to search something.  When you go into one section, there is not really secondary navigation but you get the news from that day. The site has a lot of images and videos and I think it's a great idea how they organized them with thumbnails and small descriptions on top of the picture with a black line.  On the news page, the headlines turn red when you hover over them, and it is very clear that you are selecting something. Also there is the pipeline navigation in the bottom as well as the footer and links to other CNN's in different languages or countries. I also like that at the bottom there is the option to look for a jobs, which adds to the professional feeling of the site.  Design wise, I think the clean white background makes it even more professional and it shos the CNN image.  I also like the poll section which gives you a description of the poll, a picture, and then offers you the option to look at the results but in a different page.  And, the external links open in anothe rpage, so it is also easier for you to go there and then go back.  I think it is also very clever to keep the same consistent feel when you change to the international site.

The video section is very well designed where the video appears underneath the same header and in the same style of the whole site. On the right there is a list of other relevant videos and in the bottom you get the huge list of categories and bigger thumbnails of videos you might want to watch. The sections are really well established, and are consistent with the categories for the written news. At the bottom of all the pages there is the weather report and forecast for the city you selected, which is also a useful tool, since people can eventually just come back to look at the weather if they know CNN has it listed.

Overall, I think the site does follow a consistent style and it is very clean and simple. which is helpful and useful for the CNN idea of transmitting information in the easiest and clearer way possible. I really think the white, gray, black, and red colors help emphasize the CNN trademark and make it a very professional site.

For this blog post, I decided to look at the Hard Rock Cafe's website. The first thing I noticed is that the page is centered and it has a dark color palette with black and greys like the Hard Rock style usually has.  The site looks like a three column grid and the primary navigation is in a dark grey line that is very clear and easy to see.  The primary navigation includes a secondary navigation that appears as a cascading menu up, and although I'm not a fan of cascading menus, I think it serves the purpose because there is a lot of information for this site.  I like that this site is consistent all throughout and they keep the same style and look all over the place. When clicking a different link the different information displays on the bottom. Some colors change like for the shop the background turns white yet the size of the size remains the same and this makes it easier for the users.  I really think they did a great job by chosing the black and grey palette yet mixing it with a bit of colored patters and bright touches. The site also uses a lot of gradients that help resemble like the lights from a stage and that works very well with the Hard Rock idea.  The font is also kept consistent throughout the site and it is the typical Hard Rock font, which makes it easy for the visitors to identify the franchise and the style.

I think it's also interesting how they included the different changing pictures in order to keep the site visual and more interactive. A really nice feature that I think is super cool is the 360º tour of the Cafés in different parts of the world. It makes it fun to see how there are different places aroudn the world that look similar or different but still keep the Hard Rock feel. If the purpose of the site is to keep the visitiors interested and show them how Hard Rock is availabe to them worldwide, including this virtual tour was a smart idea. Also, for each different city they include the address, hours of operation, telephone numbers and contact information. This way, everyone can get to Hard Rock Cafés all around the world and they can find all the information they need in the site right away. This site really shows how a lot of information can be arranged in order to still make it easy to navigate and relatively fast to find the information one is looking for. The primary navigation bar is there the whole time and one can always go back to it and look for more links if necessary.

Even for the Hotels, the colors remain the same and we keep getting this dark images with light from specific sources to imitate the spotlight. I think that for the Hard Rock site it was very important to really focus in trying to keep the feel and style of the Cafés that is known worldwide. I really enjoy navigating this site and you can stay on it for a long time which I believe is another purpose of the site. By including all these information about artitst and memorabilia, those music fans can find there is a lot to look at and it will keep them interested.

Fourth Blog Post

For this week, I decided to look at the website for the band "Uh Huh Her" .  My first opinion of the site is that it is very visually loaded with information. The color palette is dark with a mixture of red, black and white. The site is fixed to the left and the size is fixed as well, so since I have a big monitor and I get a lot of black space to the right. There are a lot of photographs in the main page, and there are a lot of diagonals too, which help to break that box effect. Immediately, you get a very visually loaded site, yet the background is blurred out and I think that sorta helps give the site a sort of softness and misterious feel, rather than having bright fully focused pictures. The primary navigation is located to the right and it is in a vertical list. The font and the hover state of the links is really cool, and it really follows the dynamics of the site.  The same navigation links also appear as a horizontal menu in the bottom where there are icons and graphics to display each link. I think it's a great idea to repeat the navigation and change the style in order make it more dynamic, yet I think it's hard to f igure out that those images at the bottom of the page are also links. Also at first one is not sure what clicking the pictures on top will do, but by doing it once you find out it is used to change the background and get more smaller pictures of the girls in the band. Again, these pictures keep the same style and color palettes in order to keep the coherency of the site.  I also think it's a really smart move to put the sign up for the site form right there. I know a lot of people aren't totally willing to look for that form and don't really like to fill things out, but I believe they are more likely to do it if the form is right there.

Although I like how the site manages to keep the consistency in colors and the repeated navigation, they really ruin that consistency when they change every page for every link. I know they are trying to make it dynamic and varied but it forces to user to have to "learn" how each different page works every time. After they have gotten used to the navigation in the home page, each single page changes it and is not even clearly showing how to go back to the pain page. In some pages there is not even a navigation bar or a home button so you end up with the problem of having to click the back arrow in the browser. This is not functional. It is not like it's super complicated but it could be improved. Another problem is that in some pages the whole thing is centered, in others it's moved to the left and in others its moved to the right. In any case, it plays with the eye and it makes it harder to locate things. When talking about the design, I really like it though. I love this band and their website does go with their style and their music. I think they just need to work with making their website easier to navigate. Keep things looking a bit more similar and not getting rid of the navigation bar. In this case, maybe include a secondary navigation or just making a decision of which things should be kept all accross the site.

Third Blog Post

For this week's blog post I chose to look at another portfolio. This time I looked at Sean O'Kane Photography in order to give me an idea of a different way to handle pictures and photos when making my own portfolio.

First of all, I know this site is really simple, but I really like the way pictures are displayed. The primary navigation is pretty simple and straight forward. I would definitely make it more stylish, though.  It is really easy to tell which page you are in due to the complete change in color, however I am not really happy with the light reddish color they chose for the links. I think they could go a bit more bold and avoid the pastel looking color, and maybe make some buttons or a nicer navigation bar.  I really like how he immediately goes to the live music section and shows his work right away. The pictures are really good, and you are immediately draw to his work.  I think the black band that appears on top of the pictures as you hover over is a good idea if you want to give just a bit more information about the musicians or the specific photograph. I would, however, also offer the possibility of making the pictures bigger or seeing a bigger version.  The quality is really good and I just think the fact that it lacks that possibility could affect his job offerings.

When you go to the about section, I really like that he put a nice smiling picture of himself. His description is also really creative and I like how he includes outside links to social networks where you can find him. The blog link, on the other hand, should open a new window instead of just opening in the current page. As we mentioned in class, that makes it harder for visitors to come back to the main page.

I think it could be considered too simple that he just used a white background, and it could be argued it makes it look less professional or worked on. However, I do think it is useful to highlight the bright colors in his photographs. If he had gone with a black background, for instance, the colors wouldn't look so bright and it would affect the great visual. Also, the pipeline navigation at the "bottom" of the site does make it look professional and approachable, as you get a lot of contact information.

If I had to modify this site, I would add some graphics or more elaborate design in order to match the great photographs he takes. Yet, I would keep it simple so the work can be displayed and be the main focus of the site. I might consider using a scrollbar like this one for my portfolio, since I think it makes the user interact with the site a bit more and get more engaged with the visuals as they scroll over and go back to what they like. I would include also bigger versions of pictures and def. more information when you hover over, probably allowing them to click on them and taking them to more views of the specific picture that was selected.

Second Blog Post.

For this week, the website I looked at was the portfolio of graphic designer Stefan Lucut. His site (www.stefanlucut.com) has been updated and is currently changing, so I decided to write about the last change I have seen.

When you open the website. the first thing you see are thumbnails. This time, the primary navigation are thumbnails of his work, so the people who visit the site can tell right away this is a portfolio. Since the thumbnails are very colorful, which is something that characterizes his work, he decided to make the background white. The thumbnails are divided in four columns and there is just a tiny blue line separating them. If you hover any image, it is very clear that you are "hovering" because the image gets a light grey background and a yellow background for the text. At the top of the site, you can see his name in small gray font, and if you click there you get pictures of him and contact information, as well as a small about section. When you hover his name, you get a yellow background on the text too. And in this case, it is even wider than the one in the thumnails, so it's easier to tell that you can click there.  The problem with this thought, is that the text and the color of it are really small and light, so you can't tell right away that that is his name or that it is a clickable section. I guess, if his purpose is to display his work, he really does not care about people looking at his profile or trying to find more information about him, rather just giving them the necessary contact info. if they want to hire him. I think thought, that he does a great job with the selected state, as the background behind the text turns black and the font turns white. This opposite state, as we mentioned in class, makes it really easy for the visitors to tell that something has been selected.

When you click on a thumbnail, you get images on top and the thumbnails slide down. To the right, you get a column with information and outside links for the specific project  that was selected. What I really don't like and I think gives a certain feel of inconsistency to the site, is that for some projects, he has a form of slide show where he is showing and image and there are options to click on it to see more. This actually works well, and it allows the visitors to look at his work in different angles and perspectives. However, the problem is that for some projects he does not do this, but he has all the images in a big column, so the sidebar and the scrolling becomes really long and annoying. If  the user wants to see more images, there is the necessity to scroll all the way down and that could really make them give up and just go back to the index to see something else. He should modernize his site and make all the images clickable and display them one by one. Another thing that I like is that he chose to keep the thumbnails at the bottom, so even if you have selected something you still get the chance to look at different options at the bottom if you decide to click on something else right away.

The reason I chose this site is because I really like Stefan Lucut's work and I admire him as a graphic designer. As far as his site goes, I wanted to talk about a site that is really simple, basic, and plain, but that completely serves the purpose of displaying the artists work and giving you right away an idea of what his work looks like. Since his work is very bright and colorful, what could seem to others as just a boring white background, really helps his work stand out and definitely catch the visitor's attention. If I could change something, what I would do is make his name stand out way more at the top, so people can tell right away he is a graphic designer, his name, and then look at his work. It would be very sad if someone visits the site but never realizes who is the artist and they never come back to find out. That would make him less known and I'm sure that he is not what he wants.

WEB DESIGN / FIRST BLOG POST

The site I looked at this week is www.vault49.com, which is a site about graphic design, artwork, and photography. To begin, the website navigation is pretty straightforward. The navigation bar is on top, which includes five sections: portfolio, info, contact, and then with a bit of separation and further to the right: shop and blog. On the left hand side, there is also a column that displays the links to the work related to what is selected on the navigation menu on top, so if you choose graphic you get all the options on the bottom but still on the left side column. This is pretty useful and easy to understand. However, there is a lot of work and links under the graphic section, yet there are only really small arrows at the bottom. Personally, it took me a lot of time to find them; to the point where I actually thought everything I saw was the only thing there was. There also does seem to be a hierarchy where “portfolio, info, and contact” seem to be the most important links to navigate the site. The link selections are indicated by a change in the color of the font, which in this case is white for the main navigation and pink for the sub navigation, so it is really clear and easy to tell what you are looking at on the top menu and on the bottom one.

The site color palette is dark but looks pretty well thought of, in my opinion. I like the dark grays and blacks and the combination with pink and white text. I think the whole site really matches the style of the work of the artist and that really helps give it all a unified feel.

The site has definitely a lot of pages to look at and to pay attention to.  For every higher-level category, it has a lot of sub pages and things people can look at, which I actually think is a great thing if you are trying to show your work and sell it.  The architecture of the site can be considered pretty flat. The menus on the left hand column appear and disappear only within that section, so you can pretty much access any page without further reloading of the whole site. The work appears on the right and there are different pages that scroll horizontally. I really like how the current image shows the normal colors and the ones to the right appear faded and darker, so you can easily tell that it is not selected and it will change color when it is.

However, there are a few changes I would make. First, I think the font is pretty small and outdated. The pixel font that is being used is not as modern as other fonts and it is sometimes hard to read.  Also, the buttons for selecting the different images for work displays are also very small and it took me a while to figure out they were even there. For instance, the info page contains a lot of text and it is not really something I feel like reading all the way through because of the small font size.  And, as much as I think the main website is attractive and I like the dark color scheme, I think the shop page is not as well developed. In the shop page, the main navigation buttons are on top, and you get a few more options underneath once you click the top buttons. Yet, these few more options are just text and it is harder to find what you want (like more options) for a certain main category. The font is different, but it is still really small. Contrary to the main page, the shop page is too bright and there is too much white. I would definitely make it more attractive and display the artwork in a more interesting way.

The blog, on the other hand, relates more to the main website as it also keeps the dark color palette.  It also has links to the main page, but I would’ve made a link back to the main Vault49 page a bit bigger or easier to get to.

All in all, I think the whole site really works together, with the clear main purpose of displaying the artists’ work. I don’t think there is a lot of emphasis in the shop part, yet I am guessing after looking at the artwork and liking it, then the visitor would look for the shop or way to contact right away.

A new year

So well guys a year has passed and its time for 2007. It's been a good year mostly I guess, I'm lucky and I have a really loving family who cares for me so I should be grateful for that and the fact that I have everything that I need (well you know, to live well ) ;).  I hope that 2007 is a better year where I can make more friends and become a better person.  I want to wish all of you:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

And that we all start 2007 with better attitudes and a positive spirit in order to succeed in everything we do.

New layout

I changed the layout cuz I got tired of the RHPS one really fast this time. It's the adorable Kate - pretty in red - to match the Christmas season.
I did the header really fast so I think it's fine but I am not like IN LOVE with it or anything. Just gotta say that Kate rocks and she looks good in my lj.
Any comments?

Pictures

I took my first set of pictures for my photography class. I scanned some and they are up at deviant art (HERE if anyone wants to see them). They are not that coll but they are my first set and taken you know the old school way and every part of the process done by me so well. Hopefully I will improve later on.
