8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
Ephesians 2:8
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
Romans 5:10
For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
How many times a day do you find yourself thinking you’ve blew it? That’s it, God can’t possibly love me anymore! I can’t change, I can’t do it, and I should just give up.
Zach Williams’ song ‘Fear is a Liar’, says “when he told you that you could be the that grace could never change.”
We all have had that thought, where we are the one, the one who doesn’t deserve God’s amazing love. But isn’t it cool that we aren’t powerful enough to change the will of God and His will entails loving us? No matter how hard we fight, His grace and love are always there.
Those thoughts probably run through your mind multiple times a week, maybe even daily. Satan uses those thoughts to bring us away from the Father’s UNCONDITIONAL love.
Even when we make mistakes, falter, waiver, stumble, or even completely spiral out- God still loves us. God made us. He knows us. God fully knows us. God knows who we are: our deepest secrets that make us question ourselves, our fears and doubts, our struggles, and our weaknesses. He sees us completely for us and still love us enough to open His arms with grace and mercy.
Think of your father…. could you do or say anything to make your father love you less? Of course not, he’s your father and loves all of you. Likewise with God, he’s our Heavenly Father and He loves us all.
God 100%, undeservedly, crazily, passionately, mercifully, graciously, unconditionally LOVES us, for us.
Give him your whole heart and stop trying to hide pieces from him that He can already see. He’s waiting on you to relinquish them to Him. Do it today, and be free.

Sometimes it is hard to give God our all. We are ashamed of ourselves and think that our love from God is based upon the hour and how we are living in that hour. Wrong. God LOVES YOU. PERIOD. NO BUTS! He loves you at your worst and He loves you at your best. Strive to be more like Him everyday♥
More Than Anything by Natalie Grant
Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in obsessing over the problem, or our wish and we forget to focus on the Healer, Giver, and Savior.
Take time and dwell on Him not you; this is where you’ll begin to find peace.
Oh how time flew by! It was just January 2017, like yesterday!! Doesn’t it feel like 2017 went by way too fast? For me personally, I am so thankful for a new year. Now I know that the only difference in 2017 and 2018 will be my attitude and perspective but I am thrilled to start this year with a clear head and a grateful heart.
2017 was a year of growth for me. I learned so much in one year and do not need to go into detail, this isn’t Facebook- this is a Christian devotional/inspirational blog. So let’s dive right in.
What I want to see happen in 2018 for me personally:
What I want to see happen in 2018 for my world:
Let’s make 2018 a year of commitments, forget the resolutions. Crash diets will eventually burn out, the gym membership will soon be canceled, and stress will creep back upon us. Resolutions rarely last. Commitments hold more value. Commitments are usually made with a clear mindset. When you feel like quitting or giving up this year, remember why you committed yourself; for a better lifestyle- in whatever sense that means for you.
God bless you and your 2018.
Psalm 16:8
I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Oh how crazy things feel right now. In my life personally, there are things that feel like are never going to end! I keep questioning God: how much longer? Well, you see, there isn’t an answer to that question. God never changes and His help never changes. I keep asking Him how much longer I’ll have to carry this load and all the time He is saying, “you don’t have to carry it.”
God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
He is all I’ve ever needed, He is all I need, and He is all I will need.
Whatever you’re asking God to bring you through, remember: He is walking you through it-HOLDING YOUR HAND. You may say, “I can’t do this” but guess what, HE CAN!

8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.
This verse is an outline of how us as Christians should live.
Act justly. What does that mean? Well, this means to live with a sense of right and wrong; yielding to the Holy Spirit when He tells you that something is wrong and having self-control to listen to Him and not do it. To act justly you have to do the right thing even when nobody is looking; because more chances than none there is always someone watching us, as is the Lord.
Love mercy. God is love and God is merciful. We need to be more like him and show love and mercy to people even when they do not deserve it. We do not deserve any of God’s love or mercy, yet He pours is out on us daily. What kind of love He must have for us.
Walk humbly. To walk humbly in the Lord means to lean on His understanding and to trust His judgment. We as humans try to take matters into our own hands and usually mess things up even worse. Walking humbly in Him means we need to change our heart’s attitude towards Him and let Him solve all of our problems, big and small. Help isn’t a bad thing, especially when it comes from the Almighty.

14 Let all that you do be done in love.

Short & Sweet today but still important! ♥♥♥
Trust God even when you cannot see the end result. God knows how it will play out and that is all that matters. Trust that He knows what He is doing and know that He is working for your good.

First of all, sorry I’ve been MIA, I was at church camp receiving MANY BLESSINGS♥ But I am back in business now and ready to get back in the swing of things.
15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
Today I want to talk about perspective… as I sit at my desk sipping on hot tea, hoping it will give me energy and soothe my scratchy throat, I’m thinking to myself how I just want to be in bed and sleep this yucky feeling away. I’m sitting here thinking “woe is me” and throwing a pity party….then, someone comes in and I hear that this person was having a great day. It was funny to think that when I’m having a not so great day, someone else was having a great one.
Perspective is everything. Instead of me thinking “oh poor pitiful me”, I could be thinking on all my blessings.
I am a daughter of the One True King!
I have a wonderful job that allows me privileges and freedom others do not.
I have an amazing family who loves me unconditionally!
I have the best boyfriend who pushes me to be the best person I can be, and loves me regardless.
I have an amazing church family.
I have three fur babies who makes each day better!
I have a home, a car, clothes, & food.
Plus MANY MORE that aren’t listed.
The person who came in my office may not have had all these blessings I do, but was still in better spirits than me. How silly of me! Just because I feel gross doesn’t mean I have the right to throw a pity party. People have it worse than me by far. There are people in my own family worse than me and here I am acting selfish. Changing my perspective is something I have to work on. Dear Lord, please help me to change my perspective and view things the way you do.
This verse of the day wasn’t really directed towards anyone else but myself but I hope it helps you change your perspective also.

Bad news. Have you received bad news lately? We all have and will again; it’s inevitable. Bad news is a part of life and learning to cope with it can help us walk this earth more steadily.
Now whatever your bad news is, ask your self, “is God bigger than this problem?” Well, if you didn’t answer YES! then you need to examine your heart and realize how big our God is. Of course He is bigger than your problems, so why are you fretting over this problem, diagnosis, change in work, family changes, personal changes, etc…??
Learning to cast our cares on Him is very hard to do; we as humans want to fix everything ourselves but we weren’t made to. We aren’t capable of dealing with all these problems alone. Dealing with things alone stresses us and God does not stress us out; Satan will use every little thing against us and stress us out so bad we loose sight of what really matters.
Take comfort in Him, casting your cares on the One who cares for you. How many people can you think of put you first, taking your cares into consideration, and FIXING your problems? I can’t think of one person who does that successfully; some try but fail. God doesn’t fail. God has already won, He has already succeeded!!!
