Supporting Safety Through Community Partnership SAVE Space is a community partnership initiative designed to increase safety and support for individuals experiencing intimate partner violence, also known as domestic violence. When someone needs a brief moment of refuge, a private space, or help connecting to support, participating locations are prepared to respond calmly and compassionately. SAVE Space does not turn businesses into crisis centers. It equips them to offer something simple yet powerful: a safe moment and a connection to help. How SAVE Space Works? Businesses that join SAVE Space receive a brief training that prepares staff to: Recognize when someone may be seeking help Respond with care and without judgment Offer a private space when available Help connect the individual to SAVE or other local resources Staff are not expected to intervene, investigate, provide counseling, or put themselves at risk. Their role is to provide presence and connection. Participating businesses may also display a SAVE Space sticker or sign, signaling to the community that support is available inside.
