We appreciate your interest in Savannah Classical Academy (SCA). We understand that choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions a family will make. Created in 2013, SCA is the result of a grass roots effort by Savannah residents and donors. Although SCA is part of the county school system, it is autonomously directed by the CEO and the Governing Board.
We are proud of our dedicated and hard working team of educators and students, high caliber curriculum, extracurricular activities and community involvement. Compared to other district schools, SCA students’ achievement outscored the county public school system on all 23 shared state assessments. Due to the impressive academic and enrichment programs, community collaboration, experiential learning opportunities, range and quality of extra-curricular activities for all grades, professional qualifications of staff, and the supportive and well-structured environment the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC) recently awarded SCA the highest possible rating.

Savannah Classical Academy (SCA) will host a Veterans Day Program from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11 in the school’s gymnasium, located at 705 E. Anderson St., Savannah. The event will honor the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces and highlight student performances and projects inspired by their service.
Savannah Classical Academy (SCA) once again reports excellent results for the charter school as the 2025 Georgia Milestones Assessment System (GMAS) scores have been released by The Georgia Department of Education. These assessments measure student achievement in 3rd grade through High School in a range of disciplines including science, math, reading, English language arts, and social studies. For 2025 SCA students outscored the county public school system and the state of Georgia on all twenty-two achievement assessments.
