SavageEd

At some point you're sure to have used the notepad that comes with Windows – and you've probably noticed its limitations. Well, now you can try a new one.

SavageEd is a free notepad program for Windows that does the same things as the standard Windows notepad, except it has more features.

Like the original Windows notepad, this application stands out for its simplicity. In fact, you'll find its interface to be very familiar.

Some extra features include the Auto-save function and Auto-recover for recently edited files. This, in addition to the extra features it incorporates, make SavageEd a good alternative to the standard Windows notepad.
