What to recycle at SARCAN?



Beverage Containers
Anytime you buy a ready-to-drink beverage in SK, you pay a deposit on the container it is in. Bring them into a SARCAN Recycling depot to get your deposit back.


Household Paints
Just finished a project and not sure what to do with those old paint cans? It’s easy: Bring them in to SARCAN for recycling. Even if they have some paint left in them – we’ll reuse it!


Electronics
You know that old blown speaker you keep stubbing your toe on collecting dust in the garage? Let us take care of it – SARCAN accepts a variety of end-of-life electronics for recycling!


Batteries
You’ll be shocked to find out that you can recycle your out of charge household batteries at SARCAN! Single-use and rechargeable – if it is under 5kgs we’ll recycle it for you!
Flexible Plastics
Really flex those recycling skills of yours on your next visit to SARCAN and bring us your chip bags, bread bags, wrappers, zipper-top pouches and so much more!
Foam Packaging
Recycling at SARCAN is a foam run! You can bring us the foam packaging from your electronics, foam egg cartons, and foam food trays so it can be recycled inot construction moulding and picture frames!
Non-Deposit Glass Bottles & Jars
You’ll have a smashing good time on your next visit by bringing us your non-deposit glass bottles & jars like pickle jars, jam jars, sealers, oil bottles, and more!
How to Recycle

Drop & Go
Drop off your containers, tag your bags, and go — it’s that simple!
SARCAN Drop & Go is the quickest, easiest way to recycle with SARCAN to get your beverage container deposit refund. With a Drop & Go Account, after you’ve dropped and tagged your bags and boxes, you can receive your payments through e-Transfer or by coming back to the depot and picking up a cheque.
