FAQs

FAQ- Bags

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our standard MOQ starts as low as 100 pieces per design/style, including custom designs. Pricing depends on order volume — the larger the quantity, the more competitive the per-piece pricing. Contact us with your requirements and we'll find a solution that works for your order size.

How do I place a bulk order with Sara International?

You can reach us via our Contact page, email us at sales@saraexim.in, or call +91 86177 22933. Share your requirements — product type, quantity, size, print/logo details — and our team will send you a detailed quotation within 24–48 business hours.

Do you accept small or one-time trial orders?

We are primarily a B2B bulk manufacturer. For first-time clients who wish to evaluate product quality before committing to a large order, we recommend ordering samples first (see our Samples section). This lets you assess the material, print quality, and finish before placing your production order.

What payment terms do you offer?

Our standard process is 50% advance payment to confirm the order, with the remaining 50% due at the time of delivery. That said, exact terms can vary depending on trade agreements and regulations between India and your country. Specific payment terms are discussed and confirmed during the quotation stage depending on the order value and client relationship.

Can I get bags printed with my brand’s logo or design?

Yes — custom branding is one of our core offerings. We support screen printing, digital printing, embroidery, and heat transfer. Simply share your logo or artwork file (preferably in vector format such as AI, EPS, or high-res PDF) and we'll advise on the best printing method for your design and chosen material.

Can I choose custom sizes and colors?

Absolutely. We manufacture bags in a wide range of sizes and colors. You can specify exact dimensions, handle length and style, gusset width, and fabric color. We offer standard colors as well as custom-dyed options (minimum quantities may apply for custom dyeing).

What industries do your bags cater to?

Our bags are used across a broad range of sectors: retail, fashion and lifestyle, food and beverages, hospitality and tourism, gifting, healthcare and pharmaceutical, agriculture and farming, promotional and marketing, restaurants, shopping malls, and waste management. We're happy to discuss specific functional requirements for your industry.

What materials do you use?

We specialize in three primary materials: natural Jute (golden fiber — biodegradable and renewable), Cotton (100% natural, soft, and washable), and Juco (a jute-cotton blend that combines the strength of jute with the smooth printability of cotton). All materials are 100% eco-friendly and free from harmful plastics.

Which material should I choose — jute, cotton, or juco?

It depends on your use case. Jute is highly durable and best for grocery, agriculture, or heavy-duty carrying — it has a natural rustic look. Cotton is softer, lighter, and ideal for promotional, fashion, or gifting use where a cleaner print finish is needed. Juco offers a balance of both — rugged yet smooth — and is popular for retail and lifestyle brands. Our team can help you choose based on your target audience and usage.

Are your jute bags washable?

Cotton bags are machine washable. Jute bags are best spot-cleaned or hand-washed gently, as prolonged soaking can affect the natural fibers. Juco bags, depending on composition, may be lightly hand-washed. We recommend checking care instructions on specific product types with our team.

How can I request samples?

Contact us through our website or email sales@saraexim.in to request samples. Please provide your International Courier Account Number (FedEx / UPS / DHL / TNT) so shipping can be billed to your account. Alternatively, we can discuss sample shipping charges during the enquiry process.

Are samples free of charge?

Standard catalog samples may be provided at a nominal charge or complimentary depending on the number of pieces requested. Custom-made samples requiring new production incur a sample development fee. Shipping costs are generally borne by the buyer via their courier account. Please discuss this with our team when raising your sample request.

Can I approve a sample before bulk production begins?

Yes — this is a standard part of our process. We create prototypes or production samples based on your specifications (design, color, size, logo placement) and dispatch them for your approval. Bulk production only begins after you have reviewed and signed off on the sample.

Which countries do you export to?

We currently work with clients in 45+ countries, with an active sales presence in North America, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Middle East. We are open to working with buyers from any country — contact us and our export team will assess the best logistics options for your region.

What shipping methods do you use for bulk orders?

We've partnered with courier and freight companies of every type across the world, and we choose the right partner based on your delivery timeline and specific requirements. For bulk orders, we primarily ship by sea freight (FCL or LCL), which is the most cost-effective for large quantities. Air freight is available for smaller or urgent shipments at a higher cost. We coordinate with reputable freight forwarders and can ship on FOB, CIF, or other Incoterms as agreed.

What are the typical lead times for production and delivery?

Delivery timelines depend on the design and volume of your order. We have a large in-house team and manufacturing infrastructure in place to support even high-volume, time-sensitive deliveries. Connect with our team, they will confirm exact timelines at the quotation stage based on your specific requirements.

Do you provide all export documentation?

Yes. As an experienced exporter, we provide all necessary documentation including commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, and any other certificates required by your country's customs authority. We are fully compliant with international export regulations.

Is Sara International certified?

Yes. Sara International is ISO 9001:2008 certified, reflecting our commitment to consistent quality management across design, production, and delivery. This certification demonstrates our adherence to internationally recognized quality standards.

How do you ensure quality control during production?

Quality is checked at every stage of our process. This includes raw material inspection upon arrival, in-line checks during stitching, printing, and embroidery, and a final product inspection before packaging and dispatch. Any product that does not meet specifications is reworked or rejected before shipping.

What happens if I receive defective or incorrect products?

We stand behind our quality. If you receive products that don't match the approved sample or have manufacturing defects, please contact us within a specified window of receiving the shipment with photographic evidence. We will investigate and work with you on an appropriate resolution — which may include replacement or credit depending on the situation.

How long has Sara International been in business?

Sara International has been manufacturing and exporting eco-friendly jute and cotton bags since 2015. Over nearly a decade, we have built lasting relationships with clients across North America, Canada, the UK, Australia, and the Middle East, serving industries from retail and fashion to hospitality and agriculture.
