1993 — about five years after I started writing

Randomly, insights arrive, and experiences of life unfold, inspiring lines of words at any moment, often during wake-up, when there’s nothing else to do.
Today, writing is part of my daily life – a source of deep fulfilment and uplifting satisfaction. Driven by this inner joy, an inspired phrase gradually gathers meaning. Once they feel complete enough, they find a home here – for you to discover.
Naturally, as I grow, so does my mind. My way of seeing the world changes. Other travellers on similar paths may have felt these sentiments too, expressing them in their own ways.
In recent years, I’ve found myself reconnecting with my Germanness.  Perhaps it’s a part of ageing, but words have begun to surface in the old language.  Interestingly, translating sayings I had composed in English into German sometimes revealed nuances I missed.  Then I adapted the original English until both versions felt just right.
