What Drives Us

Bringing the Joy of Christmas to Needy Children Throughout Pinellas County

For nearly four decades, Santa’s Angels has been the heart of Christmas magic in Pinellas County. We’re the only organization in Florida authorized to deliver gifts directly from “Santa” to families in need.

For 37 years, Santa’s Angels has been driven by a simple belief: every child deserves to experience the magic of Christmas morning. What started as a mission to help families during the holidays has grown into year-round support for children and families throughout Pinellas County.

We’re the only organization in Florida authorized to deliver gifts directly from “Santa” to families in need. But our work extends far beyond December—from providing beds for children sleeping on floors to stocking food pantries and supporting homeless youth with essential care items.

Every dollar you donate goes directly to helping local children. With 93% of funds supporting our programs and zero paid staff, your generosity creates maximum impact right here in our community. We don’t take federal funding—we rely on neighbors helping neighbors, volunteers giving their time, and sponsors who believe in our mission.

From Christmas morning smiles to year-round essentials, Sweet Dreams beds to Good Day Store support—we’re here because you make the difference. Together, we’ve helped over 18,000 kids and families, delivered more than 75,000 toys, and distributed thousands of food baskets, all powered by the heart of our community.

“I am a semi-retired nurse and proud volunteer with Santa’s Angels. I dedicate my time to packing food and essential items at Wally’s Place, as well as helping with fundraising events throughout the year. Volunteering with this organization has been a truly rewarding experience. I enjoy working alongside other passionate volunteers, all committed to the same mission—providing food, bedding, and the joy of Christmas to children in our local community.”

Debbie Vasquez

“After retiring from Pinellas County Schools in 2020 and the loss of my husband, I needed to get involved with something. I heard about Santa’s Angels and their food program, Wally’s Place, and I knew it was something I wanted to be part of. Having worked in the school system, I was aware of how many children in Pinellas County struggle with food insecurity. Volunteering with this incredible organization has allowed me to continue serving the children and families in our community in a meaningful way.”

Sharon Savidge

” My husband, Robert, and I have been blessed to serve our community by helping provide food for families in need. We were foster parents for over thirty years and only stepped away after hurricanes devastated our home in Redington Beach. As we rebuild, our commitment remains strong—we will continue serving with Santa’s Angels as part of our greater calling to serve the Lord.
Thank you all, and God bless.”
