i've been rolling around tumblr for a couple of years now, and really... it just makes me miss the friendships i had on LJ. haha.

currently i am:

• working in the same company doing the same thing (except i appear to be working 9-12 hour days? why??)


• playing Pokemon Go (halfheartedly)


• watching Wynonna Earp (i ship Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday... is that weird? it might be.)


• watching Game of Thrones (sort of)


• watching Suits


• watching Teen Wolf (oops)


• still in love with Kim Jaejoong (although i'm suspicious of this new drama he has coming out... it's called "Man Hole"......)


• drafting concept drawings for my friend's nascent children's book.

currently i am not:

• writing much of anything (although i dabble in random original fic and fanfic that will never see the light of day)


• drawing much of anything (other than the testing i'm doing for my friend)


• watching any anime (oh wait, there's a new season of Saiyuki!)

currently i might be:

• contemplating making felt food plushies again


• contemplating pole dance fitness classes?


• teaching myself to watercolour via youtube (i think i drew a passable pineapple the other day... is it art? who knows.)

that awkward conversation where my mom had to explain to me that "包皮" is Cantonese slang for "foreskin".

all thanks to the "Young & Dangerous" movies. hahaha. good times, good times. (one of the characters is named that.)

beloved soundtrack medley. hahaha.

my friend was invited to an "edible gifts only" secret santa party. it was the type of secret santa where you pool the gifts, and then you draw numbers to pick your gift, but you can choose to steal the gift of someone who'd chosen before you or take a new one from the pile... (what is this type of secret santa called? is it called "bad santa"? "selfish santa"? or... something like that??)

i like the idea of edible gifts only though. because, you know... for this kind of secret santa, you don't know who your recipient will end up being... and realistically, i think most people would rather have a box of cookies than a $20 candle holder (or something random like that).

hahahahahahahahahahaha.

(to be fair, there was a $20 starbuck gift card tied to it.)

i thought i was going to die laughing when she told me this story. she thought it was a giant kinder surprise egg or something. hahahahaha. she told me this story yesterday... and it still cracks me up.

i put on a playlist of B.o.B., T.I., Lil Wayne, Game, etc and i rock it out in my living room like... well you know what's up.

i'm also wearing leggings in lieu of pants.

so my friend asked me the other day if i knew what "OTP" meant. (oddly enough she learned the term through a youtube beauty guru. lol.)
of course, i cheerfully and honestly said: "sure! it stands for one true pairing, the one couple you think should be together regardless of how the storyline goes or, y'know, how general common sense would dictate."
and she asked me who was my all time OTP.
so i thought about it.
looked her straight in the eye.
and said: "yunho and jaejoong."

hahaha.

so after her faux shocked and indignant spluttering was done, i said that, no, really my OTP of all OTPs is Zach and Kelly from "Saved by the Bell".

what about you guys?

i know we're all moving towards recklessly casual punctuation and grammar in our online chats... but this is why sometimes it's still important to keep the basics...

"honestly I didn't like how they keep saying Patrick Chan is widely seen as the favourite winning gold... look at what happened at the super bowl with manning and the boston bruins!"

does she think that the Bruins are a football team? or is she referring both the recent Superbowl where Manning was touted as a winning ticket for the Broncos AND the 2013 Stanley Cup playoffs when the Bruins were favoured to win the Cup...? unclear.

do i want to watch "Young Justice"?
