I sit on the exact spot,

Where we sat everyday,

Rolling on the lush green,

Planting kisses,

Jumping like one year olds.

You were the happiest in nights,

Somehow you would sink in sky,

Surround yourself with the bright stars,

Giving you hope and power to let go,

Of troubles you faced,

Of the tears in your eyes.

I would wait,

Wait for this every night

as you could be the real you.

I have seen you fighting,

I have seen you struggling,

I knew the night would let it all go away.

Until,

Until the day,

You didn’t take me with you,

You didn’t let me in your room,

I was calling out for you,

But you didn’t hear me,

You just left.

Left away for forever.

I tried to get you back,

I tried to keep your belongings,

So I could still have your smell around me,

But it is fading away,

Like you did.

That is why I am here

On the same spot,

Because I know you are there,

Somewhere in sky,

Flying away free with all happiness and love you deserved,

And here I am ,missing you every day,

Barking all night, saying

“I love you”
