New story plans?

Well I have plans for a Hunchback of Notre Dame story that is if anyone likes it. I'm still working on chapter 1 but it will be up soon hopefully. I'm going to work on it over Thanksgiving break. :)

The story will heavily be influenced by the music of this band. I love their music and their song "Matty Groves" captures the feeling of the story in a way. "Matty Groves" will be the song that the character sings at the Festival of Fools (SPOILER). And here be the song,

Also I got a new mood theme and I LOVE IT!!!
Anyways that's about all.

See ya later!

Writer's Block: Bite Me

From Dr. Polidori's Lord Ruthven to Stephenie Meyer's Edward Cullen, the annals of vampire lore are filled with attractive, charming bloodsuckers. Which one would you most want to be bitten by?
Bram Stoker's Dracula definitely. I don't like sparkling fairy vampires.
Kamelot is so artistic and creative with this video.

Writer's Block: Conversion Rate

Have you ever considered converting to another religion?
Yes. I'm still thinking about converting to Wicca.

Writer's Block: Last Meal

What do you want your last meal to be?
OOoh! Definitely lobster, shrimp (all kinds of varieties >:P), and lots of cake!!
I'm addicted to this song right now.

Writing Tips.

Ok so I’m going to attempt to help you all with your writing!! :D

A big problem that I hear about is the dreaded WRITER’S BLOCK. How do I deal with it? Well it’s simple really. I go and read over what I’ve done or worked on and try to add to it. Or I listen to music or talk to my readers.

IMPORTANT TIP: Your readers are your friends!! They are always there to suggest things!!

Ok now let’s begin!

Tip 1: Create a playlist to listen to while you write!! You can use Windows media player, iTunes, last.fm, or even YouTube!! I have posted a link to my own personal YouTube playlist as an example. :)

Tip 2: Treat your characters like living breathing entities. To your readers they are in a sense alive so treat them as such. But not to the point where you’re schizophrenic or psychotic. ;)

Tip 3: Analyze the styles of different authors and create your own unique style!! My style is a sense of gothic and in a way kind of olden days.  (I hope. XD)

Tip 4: PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!! You can’t expect that the first time you put pen to paper or start clacking away on your keyboard that you’ll write a bestseller! It takes years and years of hard work and dedication to get published! But don’t let that discourage you. Just try your best and write for your own enjoyment! :D

And that’s all for now!!!

La Revedere!

~Andi.
