Doesn't mean the novel's finished, though - about 3/4 through I think. Am hoping to get it finished by the end of November, but at least I've hit the goal! :D

Whew.. yeah, I figured that when I said I'd finish the VDSRL one way or another, it'd actually be through not updating enough to avoid the boot :P But hey, I got back into writing after a long period of uninspiration, thank you NaNo! :D
The first week was appalling, though - two days of not writing at all as the block was too stubborn to shift. Then the local write-in happened on Saturday, and that was it...
I haven't started writing this week yet, but my word count to date stands at 15,630 :D
Long may it continue! ^_^

A/N: I traded Age Duration for 8 Day Teens in the hope that the former was messing with my ability to extract the sims. It wasn't. Still, I have more realistic/bearable teen lifespans, so I'm not complaining ^_^ Anyway, orange gen has flown past - mainly because the weeks weren't so eventful, although it means it gets finished sooner - enjoy :)

I'm crazy. Yes, I know that already :P But I'm gonna do this. I need the motivation to actually write something, and this is perfect. 
lj_nanowrimo is doing awesome things like making a donation to the Young Writer's Program for every participant who finishes - even better motivation.
I have the ideas already - I've had them for years, in fact, originally in game form but it's too story-based for that, really. The trick is to get it all down in a good way. I'm gonna finish the VDSRL one way or another by November if it's the last thing I do :P

Phew, just about made it... I hope? D: I do have a valid excuse this time, as you'll find out, but anyway - I'm trying out a mod by CJ called Semester Changes, which among things shortens the time at Uni right down to about 8 days. Just about right for these challenges, huh? ;) (Oh, BTW - found a way to beat the font problem AND shrink the size right down! Maybe now I can use the style I intended in the first place? :P)

Yes folks, I finally jumped on the VDSL bandwagon - after so long not even playing my other challenges, I felt the need to try something different, not to mention shorter than the usual ten generations. So this is my entry, with the usual splash of colour added, making this a Viking Death Squad Rainbow Legacy. Going in the order Y-O-R-G-B and the usual naming scheme - including the founder - if you're reading this as someone who doesn't visit pixel_trade, we have to roll a random challenge every week from this list. I'm currenty into week eight (I think?), and it's been great fun :)
Oh yes, and I'm trying a different format this time - after discovering Slideshare, I'm now on a mission to pacify the haters ;) Hope you enjoy!
