So...good news. I have a new video. It's my first vid for Firefly. I tried to resist the show (not sure why...), but I couldn't. I LOVE IT. And mostly..I love River.
So....check it out.

The site has a new layout.

This entire week I listened to Ben Folds on the way to work and there was this song. It was the PERFECT song for a Logan (Vmars) vid! I could SEE the vid in my head...and then dammnit it all to hell I found out it's called 'Annie Waits'. I thought he was saying 'And he waits'. Damn it all to hell.But the good news is that after spending the past day obsessively listening to Sarah Slean I have a possible song for a Da Vinci Code vid, a Veronica Mars vid, and a Love Me If You Dare vid. Oh yeah, and there's this other River/Simon vid I need to start working on.

Ramble, ramble, ramble. I've just been watching tv shows nonstop (I can't AFFORD to become obsessed with more shows...but...). I'm hoping to squeeze in some Hex, 4400, Doctor Who....I hear things and so I must seek these shows out :)

It has been a while, this I know.

This weekend I started sifting through all of the junk on my computer. After watching some of my old Btvs vids I started to wonder...what the hell was I thinking? Windows Movie Maker? Wtf?!

Why didn't I discover Premiere sooner?

Even my QAF vids were a bit hard to watch.

I think my problem was I just came into the whole vidding thing because I had something in my head that I wanted to put out in the world. That's not a bad thing..but, I never spent a lot of time on the vids. I would finish them in a day or two at the most. I didn't give a WHOLE lot of thought about literal and metaphorical...movement and color.

So, I have decided to throw myself back into vidding and have spent most of my weekend reading everything I can find at Big List of Vid Meta!.

So..hopefully I'll come out with something shiny!

Also...I came into Firefly well after everyone else discovered the little gem, bought the dvds and saw the movie. I loved it. But after seeing "Must Be Dreaming" by Corn_child! I am so in love with teh pretties! I want to make something equally as beautiful.

The songs I'm looking at.."Wishful Thinking" by Duncan Sheik, "Weight" by Sarah Slean, and "Close Up" by Frou Frou.

That is all :) Let's hope I make something ya'll will take a liking to!

P.S. I've also been sucked in by obsessive24. Mal/River. Yummy. River/Simon. I'm not crazy! AH!
