Verizon

Hello, I am still kicking around out here in Blog land, just been busy doing little things. The Verizon changeover has been a real headache, but hopefully it will be worth it in the end, if everything comes out as presented by the salesperson.
I have called tech support a couple of times, and they were no use whatsoever. One did not even understand the account I was on; it was just a bad experience with tech support all around.

Mind you, everything is working fine, but being the worry-wolf I am, I worry about the cost and the final settling of the monthly bill. Verizon makes it so confusing anymore that it’s hard to know where it’s going to settle out for your monthly cost because of getting started fees and transferring discounts over from one account to the other, etc. etc… Well, I’ll keep my fingers crossed, and we’ll see about the 3rd month.

One would think they could just transfer discounts such as auto pay and veterans discounts over to the new account seamlessly but no, they won’t do that. They gotta do their predatory behavior and charge you for a couple months without discounts, like they don’t know if you qualify or not!

Corporate America just don’t inspire much trust in me whatsoever, they rank right up there with politics, not good. LOL.

Okay, that is enough ranting from me for today.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Updated My Verizon

About 2 or 3 months ago, I updated my Verizon account to a new plan, but today I went into one of their stores and did another switch over. (My friend went in to start a Verizon account switch over, and I was with him.) This time, it is one of the updated home connect devices instead of the Jetpack for Internet. I had a home connect device at one time, but this one is a bit different as far as the services that it offers. As they explained it to me, I will now have unlimited Internet on the hot-spot on my phone and also on the home connect device, for my computer and other devices. Also, this is with no slowdown after so many gigs, which is a major plus. So, we’ll see how this works out.

Anyway, that is about all I have been up to, pretty much. Well, I did go to Harbor Freight and pick up another tool, a wood router they had on sale. So my little building is beginning to become a small workshop, or for me, it is a small piddling shop! However, this weather is keeping me indoors for the next week or two at least, so my piddling is kind of inside the RV, or out running the roads.

Folks, I hope you all are staying warm and snug.

Guess, the great weather I was having is going to be missing for a bit, 😔.

I hope your weather is fair, have a nice day.

Today do something to make someone else day slightly better, even if they don’t notice.

One Big Road Trip

Today my friend and I took a trip to Snowflake, Arizona to look at an RV for sale. (It didn’t work out however.) Wow, long ride! We left at about 4:45 a.m. this morning and got back around 5 p.m. this evening. On the way up the road was through a mountainous area on very curvy roads, and I was really tired from being out of my sleep pattern, I felt a bit queasy and like I might fall over any second for just a little while, and was thinking for a bit maybe I shouldn’t have taken this trip! LOL. However, after getting through the curvy area, it wasn’t too bad even though I was still tired.

It was good to get out and do something else for a change, kind of breaking my pattering of monotonous routines!

You folks, have a fine evening.

Another Year

Friend : I have a friend coming in, the one that likes to stay busy. He’ll likely get me out running the roads. I look forward to doing something other then just hanging out near the house here. Always good to see friends.

Folks, do have yourself a fine day.
