The Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program is a federal initiative administered by CMS to overhaul rural healthcare infrastructure, providing $10 billion annually for states to improve access, workforce retention, and technology adoption. Through innovative system-wide change, the RHT Program invests in the rural healthcare delivery ecosystem for future generations.

So what does this mean for the Rural Collaborative?

Of the $181 million Washington state will receive  in 2026, $5,430,000 has been ear-marked for TRC to implement smart, sustainable improvements.
