Runtime Utility Center (RUC) is a service and configuration tool from Bernecker + Rainer Industrie Elektronik Ges.m.b.H. (B&R) designed to simplify the commissioning and maintenance of B&R industrial PCs and panel systems running Automation Runtime applications. It provides a single, guided interface to install and update runtime components, configure system parameters, manage licenses, perform backups and restores, and collect diagnostics for troubleshooting. Built for machine builders, OEMs, and maintenance teams, RUC standardizes service procedures, shortens commissioning time, and helps reduce downtime across the machine lifecycle.
