Since 1964, your flexographic prepress specialist

1964

Nuova Roveco

Four young entrepreneurs founded New Roveco in Milan, the first Italian prepress company dedicated exclusively to the flexographic sector. The goal was to offer the best in flexo technology, with plates made of micro-zinc, magnesium, phenolic resin, and vulcanized rubber.

1977

An Industrial Reality

The company relocates to Monza and invests in human resources and new technologies, undergoing a transformation from a craft-based operation into an industrial enterprise. These are, in fact, years of growth and expansion at the national level.

1987

Photopolymers

Anticipating the times, the foresight of the ownership supported the transition from vulcanized rubber plates to photopolymer plates, installing the first large-format DuPont Cyrel 2001 line in Italy, an automatic system for the production of analog photopolymers.

1997

Birth of Digital Flex

Within Nuova Roveco, Digital Flex was established, becoming the first company in Italy and among the first in Europe to install a flexo CTP system for the production of digital plates. Digital Flex recorded annual growth of 10%, becoming the fourth largest group in Europe in terms of photopolymer material consumption.

2007

Seamless

The product range expanded with photopolymer and elastomer-coated sleeves for continuous printing.

2010

High definition

HD Flexo® technology is introduced, combining high-resolution optics with advanced screening technology, ensuring a significant improvement in quality and a wider color gamut.

2013

Flexo HD Plus®

The implementation of new technologies (Next Exposure) allows to offer higher quality levels than traditional high-definition HD.
