Why ride to decide
Have you thought about a career in HVAC or Plumbing and didn’t know where to start? Ride to Decide is the best way to see what your future could look like. Our program offers you the opportunity for job shadowing that steps out of the box, and into a van. You will have the chance to ride with one of our top service technicians for the day to see how they interact with customers, solve problems, and truly change lives. You can participate in this program regardless of your experience.
- Experience a day in the life of an HVAC Technician or Plumber by riding along with a professional.
- Ask questions about career paths, experience typical technical repairs, and get a glimpse into what life looks like for a technician.
- Time: 7:30am - 2:30pm. All Ride to Decide days must be scheduled with Lindsey Powers-Joyner at least a week in advance before participating.
Eligibility requirements do apply. You must be 16 years or older. On the day of, you must wear close-toed shoes and long pants, and make sure to bring water and a snack! Be ready to get your hands and shoes dirty; you will get to see it all!
