Roadmap rework
Ongoing rework of the public roadmap to live natively on rootedthegame.com — clickable cards, in-page vote modal, and polished layout aligned with the rest of the site.

New procedural terrain materials: surfaces blend by slope and height on their own, no hand-painting. Plus a fresh Nanite vegetation pass tuned to stay light at open-world scale.
Survivor camps now feel alive: inhabitants go about their routines while sentries hold the perimeter, defenders fall back ring by ring, and a single landed shot wakes the whole camp.
Leveled up the wildlife: animals can now be hunted and taken down, gray wolves joined the roster, and co-op players see it all properly, down to the reload wheel on the crosshair.
Started work on procedurally generated houses, and the first results are looking good: multi-wing homes with proper roofs, porches and garages, assembled automatically.
Enemy patrols now roam between outposts: marching columns that hit the deck at gunfire, fight in the open, and lead pursuers straight into the next garrison's guns.
