About the Programme

Erasmus+ is the EU programme supporting education, training, youth and sport in Europe. It provides opportunities for education, training and practice abroad through the mobility of students, doctoral candidates, academic and non-academic staff, through regulated cooperation between higher education institutions and other key partners from the public and private sectors.

Rakovski National Defence College offers mobilities under Key action KA 131 in EU countries and under Key action KA 171 in non-EU countries with over 30 higher education institutions around the world.

🧭Opportunities under the Erasmus+ Programme

• For students. Choose a university abroad for study or internship, with the corresponding credits recognised. Participation in the Erasmus Mundus joint Master’s programmes gives you the opportunity to receive a full scholarship for study in an international master’s program. You receive a lot of financial and logistical support for studying in an international environment.

• For teachers and staff. To teach at a partner university for a period of 2 days to 2 months (in the EU) or 5 days to 2 months (outside the EU). To participate in mobilities for professional development through exchange of experience or short-term training, as well as participation in joint projects with foreign universities.

📌 Steps on how to participate?

Each participant is personally responsible for the preparation and organisation of their mobility.

🧳The steps are as follows:

1. Select mobility type (study, internship, teaching, etc.) and university;
2. Contact your coordinator (listed below for the relevant structures), who will help you prepare the necessary documents, declarations, submit an application and sign a contract.;
3. Register in the program portal and add the necessary reports for the mobility carried out.
