THE THEME: University Problems
Build an app or website that solves a problem you experience every day at university!
Innovate an existing platform, identify a missing service, or create something entirely new to make university life easier for students.
This can be on-campus, remote, or anywhere students connect and learn.
Get started
- Attend the Opening Ceremony
- Register on Devpost
- Complete the Team Registration Form here (by 2PM Saturday 25th - late submissions accepted)
- Create a public GitHub repo
- Submit your GitHub link and video demo by the deadline
Schedule
Friday 24th October
- 3:30 PM: Opening Ceremony — 80.1.002
- 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: On-campus breakout rooms available.
Saturday 25th October
- 9:00 AM: On-campus rooms open to participants!
- 12:00 PM: Lunch provided!
- 2:00 PM: Team Registration Form due
- 5:00 PM: Event room bookings end - feel free to continue hacking from home or elsewhere.
Sunday 26th October
- 9:30 AM: Submissions due! Please reach out to event staff ASAP if you have submission issues.
- 10:00 AM: Judging commences (private).
- 1:00 PM: Lunch provided!
- 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Awards Ceremony — 80.1.002

Requirements
What to Build
In teams of up to 5 students, build a website, web application, mobile application or other implementation for your solution.

What to Submit
Saturday 2:00pm, (NOT VIA DEVPOST):
- Finalised Team registration (an elected member from all teams must fill out the Microsoft Form here)
Sunday 9:30am:
- Code Submissions (GitHub repo link +/- Live Link)
- Video Demo (YouTube link)
- Written Description (the provided sections within DevPost)
