  • 9-12/1/2024: I presented my work on Mediaeval Chinese pronouns at the North American Research Network on Historical Sociolinguistics, and Sherry Chien and I presented joint work on rhythm typology with Argyro Katsika, Matt Gordon and Yan Lashchev at the Linguistic Society of America in Philadelphia!
  • 7-8/12/2024: I attended the Pacific Asia Conference for Language, Information and Computation online, and presented my work on light verb constructions in English, comparing statistical and LLM-based methods!

  • 21/8/2024: I was at the Societas Linguistica Europae conference in Helsinki, presenting joint work with Lu Liu on Cantonese similative demonstratives.
  • 30/6/2024: I received a Humanities and Social Science dissertation grant for my thesis work in summer!
