Our Story

Ritz Marine Ltd (C100954) started in 2020 as a family-run marine business in Malta. What began with a simple idea, selling quality watersports gear to a Mediterranean island that deserved better options, grew into something far bigger.

Owner Ryan Rizzo built the company from the ground up, sourcing products directly from manufacturers and cutting out the middlemen that inflate prices across the marine industry. Today, Ritz Marine operates from Marsaskala on Malta’s southeastern coast, serving retail customers, yacht owners, and superyacht fleet managers across the Mediterranean.

We’re still family-run. Every order, every supplier relationship, every customer interaction carries the same hands-on attention that shaped this business from day one.

Two Divisions, One Standard

Ritz Marine runs two distinct brands under one roof, each built for a different side of the marine world.

Ritz Marine: Retail, Watersports, and Outdoor Gear

This is where most customers meet us first. We stock and sell kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, eFoils, electric surfboards, inflatable boats, wakeboards, towables, snorkelling gear, roof boxes, roof racks, and everything in between. We’re authorised dealers for brands that lead their categories: Fliteboard, Yamaha, Sublue, Menabo, Awake, Lift Foils, Jobe, O’Brien, Jetsurf, ZAR, and Seabob.

Being an authorised dealer matters. It means genuine warranty coverage, factory-trained service knowledge, and direct access to spare parts. When you buy from Ritz Marine, you’re buying the real product with full manufacturer support behind it.

Mercer Yachting: Superyacht Services, Compliance, and Procurement

Our second division, Mercer Yachting, handles the professional maritime side: superyacht agency and procurement services, compliance, classification support, and technical supply. Mercer Yachting serves captains, fleet managers, and management companies who need a reliable partner based in a central Mediterranean hub. We specialize in Mercer Yachting as our superyacht division.

The two brands feed each other. A yacht captain browsing superyacht toys through Mercer Yachting can buy directly through Ritz Marine at retail or project pricing. A retail customer who grows into the charter or superyacht world already knows where to turn for provisioning and technical supply.

The 10% Markup Model

Procurement in the marine industry has a transparency problem. Too many suppliers hide their margins, bundle unclear fees, or mark up parts by 30%, 40%, sometimes more. We think that’s the wrong way to build trust.

Ritz Marine operates on a transparent 10% markup for procurement orders. You see the supplier cost, you see our 10% fee, and that’s the final price. No hidden charges, no inflated quotes, no surprises on the invoice.

This model works because we move volume across a wide supplier network and keep our overhead lean. We’d rather earn a fair margin on a thousand orders than an excessive margin on a hundred.

We’ve spent years building relationships with over 500 suppliers in more than 25 countries. That network covers everything from consumer watersports equipment to Class-approved technical spares for commercial and superyacht vessels.

Need a specific Yamaha outboard part shipped to a yacht in Valletta Grand Harbour? We source it. Looking for a Seabob fleet for a 60-metre charter yacht? We configure and deliver it. Want a Menabo roof rack fitted to your car before the weekend? We handle that too.

Malta’s position in the centre of the Mediterranean makes it a natural logistics hub. We ship to marinas, boatyards, and private addresses across Europe, and we regularly supply vessels transiting through Maltese waters.

What We Do

Retail Sales

Our core catalogue covers kayaks, SUPs, eFoils, electric surfboards, inflatable boats, wakeboards, towables, snorkelling gear, roof boxes, and roof racks. We sell online and handle local delivery across Malta and Gozo.

Superyacht Provisioning and Technical Spares

Captains and chief engineers send us parts lists, and we source, quote, and deliver. Our 10% markup model applies here, and we handle customs clearance for goods entering Malta’s freeport or arriving directly at quayside.

Roof Rack and Roof Box Fitting

We’re Malta’s go-to supplier for Menabo roof racks and roof boxes. We don’t just sell them; we fit them. Every installation is matched to the specific vehicle make and model, with load ratings checked and torque specs followed.

eFoil Lessons and Service

Buying an eFoil is one thing. Knowing how to ride it is another. We offer lessons for Fliteboard and other eFoil brands, covering everything from first flight to advanced carving. We also service and repair eFoils, including battery diagnostics, motor replacement, and board repairs.

Superyacht Toys

We supply, configure, and deliver superyacht toy packages: Seabobs, Jetsurf boards, Fliteboards, inflatable platforms, towables, and custom tender setups. We work directly with yacht management companies and charter brokers to spec the right toys for each vessel and season.
