“My, What A Large Head You Have!”

from such a small car

german shepherd’s huge head juts

out a back window

“Small Dog, Small Girl: The Cusp of October” Tanka 289

The small fluff white dog

doesn’t care it’s October:

he wants to play…now!

His young girl stands on the steps,

dad-in-hand, rubs her best bud!

“That Old Dog Of Mine”

Old,  yella bent-tail

dog on a dirt-clay road asleep,

took a bumper…bad!

Tiger was a Ladies man:

I’d see him all hours ‘cross town!

Dog (Would) Tree Gone, Alas

The tree is gone now,

and the original pic as well;

but I have this bit!

“What Do Dogs Say?”

do dogs feel sorry

we can’t lick , and so they do

for us backwards fools?

“Arf! Arf!”

July ends so well

with waterfalls and showers
