On come October’s
clouds as flutterbys patrol:
shudda had milkweed!*
*(Milkweed, the preferred sippage of the Monarch Butterfly, is an uncommon but useful flowering “weed” hereabouts and sometimes in early Fall or so we get patrols of Monarchs attempting the Gulf of Mexico crossing to their Winter homes in the central highlands of that country. Like many other migratory flying creatures, the Monarch have several established routes to their southern homes. Before next year I will have established a feeding station for these fascinating creatures.)
