A zestful day to the one reading my very first blog entry. I am so eager to spill out what’s on my mind right now. Hoping this would be something essential to both end—of course to myself and especially to you. This is my fist time so em gonna enjoy it and try my best. Hope you will learn something because I would love to share this simple piece of mine.

And btw, thanks to my office mate who enticed me to start writing here. @dearjackthethird

So here’s the first letter…

…ring ring…

It will give you excitement, will make you happy, will give you inspiration and will stress you up. Some people will discriminate, some will look up. It doesn’t matter.  Just take it.

My name is Rhea, 23 years of age and working as a call center agent.

I stop studying due to the very well known reason, financial matter. It is not easy to sacrifice your dream over  your work to sustain the needs of the whole family but I’m happy about it and dedicated to finish my studies too.  This reason became my way to enter this path.

I entered the BPO industry last January 2016 and still working here at CSPh. I am very thankful about it because this is the first company who accepted me as a newbie and imparted knowledge how BPO works.  I gained experienced that I believe I can apply even if I go outside the premises—being professional towards work, socializing with different kind of people, aiming professional growth and etc…I must say that CSPh is a family.

When it comes to the nature of the work, I can say that it takes: Patience, because there are times that you will encounter irate customer and you have to control your emotion to give resolution to their concerns: Love, because without this, you won’t be happy on what you are doing and passion to become productive and succeed in this kind of career.

It gives aches and happiness, challenges and success.

I know a lot of people who became successful in this kind of field. Well I guess, it’s their heart who made them successful.

Actually I wrote the body of this letter last year and kept it in my desktop because that was I used to before (magkimkim. Charought!) And just like what I’ve mentioned there about finishing my studies kyeme…eto na po, gagraduate na po ang guru sa ika labing walo ng Abril.

There are so many reasons to give up my dreams before. Especially that financial matter, grabe usong uso lang? But God made a way for me to believe in dreaming and aiming it again. I have my family who inspires me the most and never leave my side. Sila talaga yung dahilan bakit matatag ate mo Rhea eh. Sila yung dahilan bakit ko kinakaya ung apat na oras na tulog araw-araw makatapos lang. Sila yung dahilan bakit ako nagsimulang mangarap at nagbigay rason bakit ko dapat itong abutin. Mula bata kasi ako nakita ko kung paano nagsikap si papa at mama para sa aming lahat. Mula bata tinatak nila sa murang kaisipan namin kung gano ito kahalaga at ang edukasyon ang magbibigay kalidad sa aming buhay. Kaya hayun, bitbit namin hanggang ngayon.

I also have my colleagues and friends who cheer me up to make through of it and never fail to remind me how beautiful I am (char walang ganoin). And most especially someone who loves me very much and boosts my confidence whenever I get weak.

To sum it all up, I am surrounded by people who throw lamp at me to give light on my way and view life as a positive one that despite of its difficulties, I/we can surpass it.
