Project FAQs
If you have Ableton Live 11 or Ableton Live 12, you can open all of these projects without any issues. However, if you are still using Ableton Live 10, only some projects are compatible. Please check the Requirements tab on each project page to confirm compatibility before purchasing.
Each remake includes two zip files:
1. Ableton Live Project – The full project, with all tracks frozen to ensure compatibility.
2. Multitrack Stems & MIDI Files – Includes individual .wav audio tracks and .mid files for use in any DAW.
This allows both Ableton and non-Ableton users to access the project files.

Frozen tracks in Ableton Live are tracks that have been temporarily rendered as audio, allowing users to hear the full sound of the project even if they don’t have all the required third-party plugins.
This means that even if a synth or effects plugin is missing from your setup, you’ll still hear the processed audio exactly as intended. Frozen tracks appear highlighted in blue and can still be soloed, muted, and mixed within the project.
If you have the necessary plugins installed, you can unfreeze the tracks to make full edits. However, if you don’t have the plugins, the frozen tracks ensure that you can still play back the project without any missing sounds.

Yes, most projects use third-party plugins. You can find the exact plugins required in the Requirements tab on each project page.
I try to limit the number of third-party plugins, and most projects use the same go-to instruments and effects, including:
- Soft synths: TAL U-NO-LX, Arturia V Collection plugins
- Effects: Soundtoys Decapitator, Valhalla Vintage Verb, iZotope Ozone Imager 2
If you don’t own these plugins, frozen tracks allow you to hear the full project anyway.
Yes! The multitrack WAV stems and MIDI files can be imported into any DAW.
- WAV Stems: Each project includes both grouped bus stems (with processing) and individual track stems (dry). This means you can mix and arrange freely.
- MIDI Files: Some DAWs require MIDI files to be renamed as .midi instead of .mid to import them correctly. Check your DAW’s requirements before purchasing.

Nope, all remakes are instrumental-only. The projects do not include any vocal tracks.
After completing your purchase, you’ll have immediate access to download your project from the Thank You page. Download links will also be sent to your email, and the links never expire, so you can access them anytime. If you create a user account at checkout, you’ll also be able to download your projects from your account page whenever needed.
If you receive an error about missing plugins, first check that you have the correct version of Ableton Live by looking at the Requirements tab on the project page. If the issue is missing files, try re-downloading the project to ensure everything was downloaded correctly.
