What is RetroWorld Expo?
RetroWorld Expo is the largest retro gaming & collectibles-themed convention in the North East
Who is the Organizer?
RetroWorld Expo was founded in 2015. It is owned and managed by RetroWorld, LLC which is operated by a small group of gaming enthusiasts
Where is the show located?
RetroWorld Expo is hosted at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT. 100 Columbus Blvd, Hartford CT 06103
What are the Show Hours?
Friday TBA
Saturday TBA
Sunday TBA
Those who purchase our "Super Turbo Edition 3 Day Package" will have one (1) hour early access starting at 9 am.
ATTENDING THE SHOW
Where can I pick up my tickets?
Tickets purchased online will be emailed a confirmation and a QR Code. Please bring printed copies of the email tickets or the QR code on your phone to the show to pick up badges and wristbands at the registration area.
Can I purchase tickets at the show?
Yes, we will have an area for purchasing tickets at the show. Tickets bought the day of are $5 more per day than tickets purchased online. We accept cash and credit cards for purchases.
I am a special guest, volunteer, or vendor - where do I pick up my tickets?
We will have a Will Call at the registration area with a list and your name on it. You can bypass any ticket lines and go directly to Will Call.
What is the refund policy?
We don't offer refunds on RetroWorld Expo tickets. However, if you are unable to attend, tickets can be given to other attendees if they are not name-specific.
Are there any discounted hotels you offer at the show?
Yes! We are working with the Hartford Marriot, which is offering a discounted rate, and it is directly connected to the Connecticut Convention Center. Click Here for our hotel page for more info and a booking link.
Where do I park?
There is an attached paid parking garage to the Connecticut Convention Center. There are also numerous other parking garages in the area as well as metered on-street parking available. Click here for Available Parking
Is there food available at the show?
Yes, there are concessions on the Exhibit Hall floor during Show Hours. Numerous restaurants and food options are within a short walking distance of the Connecticut Convention Center. Please note that outside food and drinks are not permitted to be brought into the venue.
What sort of payment do vendors accept?
Most vendors will accept many forms of payment including cash, credit cards, Venmo, Zelle, and Paypal. It is up to the vendor's discretion how they want to collect payment and some may only accept cash.
Are there ATMs onsite?
Yes, there are two ATMs located in the convention center lobby. There are also several banks within short walking distance.
Am I allowed to bring a bag into the show?
Yes, you can bring small bags and backpacks in to the show. There may be a bag check if you do decide to bring a bag.
Can I bring drinks, water or other food to the show?
You can bring single bottles of water or drinks to the show. No outside food is allowed in
If I leave the convention will I be allowed back in?
Yes, your wristband will allow you to leave the convention and enter at any time during show hours on the day you purchased the ticket.
Are strollers allowed?
Yes, you can bring strollers to the show. No problem!
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Where can I find information on tournaments?
We have many different tournament organizers that operate tournaments at the show. For tournament information please visit our Gaming Tournaments page
Do I need a ticket to RetroWorld Expo to participate in tournaments?
Yes every attendee needs an admission ticket to RetroWorld Expo to participate in tournaments. There may be additional tournament fees that can be paid directly to the tournament organizers at the show
Are there tournament fees to enter any of the tournaments?
Some tournaments at the show will have tournament fees to enter. Most of the time these will go to a prize pool to be given back to winners of the tournaments.
Not all tournaments have fees though and there are many free to enter tournaments.
How do I check in for the tournaments?
Many tournament organizers will put together a pre registration for the tournament and if a start.gg link is provided you can pay and register online.
Some tournaments you may be able to register in person at the show.
To check in there is a Show Map and Schedule which will indicate where that particular tournament is being held and you can check in there.

What do I do if I find or lose something?
Please bring all found items to the RWX Information Booth in the Lobby. Lost and found will be located here.

Can I bring items in to sell to vendors or consign at the auction?
Yes! Absolutely. You can bring a reasonable amount of items that fit in a backpack that you can carry to sell to vendors or consign at the auction. We do not allow wagons or large amounts of items to be brought in and sold to other attendees.
Do you offer a Military Discount on tickets?
We offer a 20% discount on tickets purchased at the box office on the day of the show with a military ID presented.
How do I consign items at the Auction?
You can bring items into the show and consign them at the auction booth on the main show floor. Auction fees apply.
How do I get paid for items I sell at the Auction?
The auctioneer will send out payments via check to the address you provide after the show
