RetroBat

RetroBat is free and open source software that allows you to automatically configure the frontend of EmulationStation, being able to directly download RetroArch or any other independent emulator. Everything you need to be able to play any video game on any console is already here ready for you. As a result, you won't have to search for emulators, BIOS or other programs, and you can focus on what's truly important: playing the game.

Very easy to use

You must install RetroBat before you can use it. Make sure to choose a hard disk with a lot of free space available, as the program itself takes up more than 4 GB, and when you start downloading emulators and ROMs, this will only go up. So it is best to install it on an SSD with at least 100 GB of free space. During installation, RetroBat will install all the necessary dependencies that are not already installed on your PC.

Download emulators with one click

As soon as you open RetroBat, you will see a neat menu which allows you to choose between Emulators, Windows games, PC Ports, Arcade Games, etc. Within the Emulators section, which is certainly the most interesting, you will find a selection of some of the best free emulators for each and every console in history. From here, with a single click, you can download emulators for PlayStation 1, 2, 3 and 4, as well as emulators for Nintendo Switch or Game Boy Advance, and even emulators for the Atari Jaguar or the Sega Saturn. Configure each emulator individually

Being a frontend, RetroBat allows you to download, install and launch all emulators, but not configure them. You will need to configure each emulator independently, from its own interface. Fortunately, in most cases this is fairly straightforward. Similarly, this program doesn't allow you to download any ROMs directly. You will have to extract or download your own ROMs. In any case, it is best to store them in the same directory as the emulator.
