Interactive OER II

Okay, I’ll not create a new page, but here’s yet another “hey, here’s a thing that should be done!”

I made a times tables course in Moodle but it was totally at the “person learnign stuff and playing around” stage.  For YEARS I stopped short of …. sharing online, when all the time people are asking “how can I teach the times tables?”   I *had* sort of decided that would probably be the best “everybody wants this”  door to open, even though there is so much more to math than that.  And every time I got close, well, something happened to make it not happen.

Same thing this time!   When I went to spruce up appearances and sweep out the clutter… I experienced the things that inspire people to say “Open source is just too tricky!   You have to know too much! And it has lousy support!”   … becaues to change anything, I had to change my user name to “all lower case” — WHY??????? —   and it wouldn’t take just doing that because “that’s already taken.”  No, it isn’t;  you just can’t tell the difference.  Well, except to tell me you can’t accept AuntJames.   In that process, I don’t have access.

Except I *have* gotten offers of support, and I’ve done enough Helping People With Computers to know how tricky it is to figure out where their understanding is.  So… here’s a summary of where I sort of am, which no, sorry, I cannot copy and paste without erasing everything I wrote.   Can we go back to CODE??????   I can’t paste into a page?

No, I don’t know the best way to organize this stuff.
