mission three & plotting

Hey guys! Jamie here with the mission three plot post, and a bit more info beside it. Things will be a liiiiiittle different this time around, so bear with me and be sure to read through for the differences!

The sun will set on a dark red sky, and the text will go out as per usual. If you're new to the island, watch other characters (ICly) and see how they react! It's the start of another mission and they know it. Get the safehouses ready and follow the walki-- wait, where are the walking fish? Something's wrong, already. Instead of the usual fish that walk around the complex and out the gates leading into the forest, the gates open onto a trail of jack o' lanterns leading you through the forest to the lair.

The two-headed hyena guardian is gone, and the lair itself is well-lit; an improvement over the last mission. (All our teasing, and Kuu really did incorporate hello kitty into the mission. See what happens when you take us seriously?) Find the key to get through the first door, and-- oh. It's caved in. There's gouging in the walls and floor, and it seems that beast you hear outside is what managed to break free.

And that beast is also the cause for the spirits to go violent and desperate. Play this week's mission to find out why!

The mission this month is clear: track down the beast and defeat it, and let the spirits... you know. Rest in pieces or something like that. Hopefully they'll stop possessing everyone and your grandmother!
