The secret life of a world traveling doctor-writer in the making is coming here soon.
Seems that the general trend is to move over to Dreamwidth. I'm feeling pretty down right now, so I'm going to post over there. Come find me. If you have an account, let me know? Aside from that... it's been real, guys. Thank you for a good run. I hope to get caught up with everything going on in your lives soon.
Nice to meet you again.

fyreharper . (Thank you, thank you.)
So let me tell you about my new name. Rentetsu is Japanese for "wrought iron," which I think is a perfect combination of aesthetics and functionality. Of beauty and strength. It's something tempered and forged (but not faked). It will bend, but it will not break. And that's the kind of person I hope to be––someone both gorgeous and useful.
I was really close to giving up this past year, closer than I care to admit. But I've decided it's not too late to save my life.
Since I tend to end these with a question or prompt: Tell me the story of your name. Your user name, especially if I don't already know. And your name in Real Life, if you feel comfortable sharing.
