Everything you need to know about RenoSys pool renovations, new pool construction, and our 60 mil PVC membrane system.

About RenoSys

What is a RenoSys 60 mil PVC membrane?

RenoSys is a reinforced, textured 60 mil PVC membrane that creates a watertight, low-maintenance pool interior. It transforms older pools, lowers maintenance, and protects your pool structure.

How long has RenoSys been in business?

Since 1987, incorporated in 1990.

How many pools have you installed?

Over 9,500 commercial RenoSys membrane installations to date.

Warranty & Lifespan

What is the warranty?

RenoSys membranes are warranted for 10 years against leakage.

How long will my membrane last?

Actual service life depends on usage, climate, and care. The 10-year warranty ensures full coverage against leaks, though membranes often remain in service past that mark.

Installation

How is the membrane installed?

  1. Prep the pool surface as needed
  2. Apply geotextile felt
  3. Install and secure the 60 mil PVC membrane
  4. Weld seams for a watertight seal
  5. Attach flanges at penetrations
  6. Add markings, racing lanes, or logos if desired
  7. Perform a final inspection before filling

How long does installation take?

  • 30 x 60 ft pool (5 ft deep): approx. 3–6 days
  • 42 x 75 ft pool (10 ft dive area): approx. 7–12 days
  • 50-meter x 60 ft pool: approx. 2–3 weeks

Can I talk to some other customers about their pool project and satisfaction?

Absolutely.  Upon receipt of our quotation, your sales associate will be happy to provide you with other similar pools to your project as well as various pools in your area.

Can I visit a pool during installation?

Site visits are rare and only allowed with client permission. Contact your sales associate for availability.

Are there installation limitations?

RenoSys requires sound concrete for attachment, and any deterioration at penetrations should be repaired before installation. Our membrane does not address plumbing failures, which must be resolved in advance.
*For facilities with significant plumbing concerns, ask your sales associate about alternative solutions such as our DuraTech Stainless Steel Gutter System.

Cost & Quotes

How much does a RenoSys pool cost?

Each project is quoted individually. Pricing depends on pool size, location, complexity, and other conditions.

How do I get a reliable quote?

Submit the Quote Form with pool details. Preliminary quotes are provided quickly; firm quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

Maintenance & Care

How do I care for my pool?

RenoSys membranes are low maintenance. Follow standard pool chemical routines, maintain proper water balance, and avoid sharp objects on the surface.
*A Care and Maintenance Guide is provided with every close-out package.

What about gutters and piping?

Pressure-test stainless steel gutters and pool piping before membrane installation if there are signs of leaks.

Special Features & Options

Can I add markings, racing lanes, or logos?

Yes. All can be installed on the membrane. Custom logos are priced based on size and complexity.

Is RenoSys suitable for new pools?

Yes. The membrane is cost-effective, watertight, slip-resistant, and protects concrete from chemical damage. For ultimate durability, see FuturaPool, our stainless steel/PVC system with a 50-year structural and 25-year interior warranty.

Can RenoSys be used on decks?

No, but our RecDeck product is slip-resistant, watertight, and adheres to tile, concrete, or wood decks.
