Official “Safety – Liability – Warranty” Statement from the Manufacturer

The REGO-FIX powRgrip® PGU Hydraulic Clamping Unit has been approved, tested and certified with genuine REGO-FIX products only, fulfilling all machinery directive, such as the EC Machinery Directive for hydraulic press. Using unlicensed third-party products such as non-official Press Fit items (copycat) toolholder and/or collets will void the warranty of the PGU Clamping Unit. Furthermore, the proper functioning and/or safety of the clamping press cannot be guaranteed. All valid certifications will be voided, exposing any operator to a serious safety risk.

 REGO-FIX will not assume any responsibility whatsoever for third-party products. These unauthorized components may pose safety hazards, as they have not been tested, approved, or certified by REGO-FIX. All safety and machinery certifications of the REGO-FIX powRgrip® PGU become null and void the moment any unlicensed third-party product is used for clamping or unclamping.

For more information specifically to the employer’s liability to ensure the machinery safety and its intended application in the United States, please review carefully:

• Machine complies with relevant U.S. regulations, such as OSHA standards.
• Engage with a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) for third-party testing and certification.
• NRTLs include UL (Underwriters Laboratories) and TÜV SÜD.
