Judging Criteria

  • Wowzers!
Judges will be looking for projects that stand out and leave a lasting impression! They’ll be looking for a project that achieves its goals (any goal!) exceptionally, whether that’s creatively, technically, or in any other dimension.
  • Orginality
The project’s originality is judged by uniqueness and creativity in addressing challenges. It should bring something new and distinct to the field, offering innovative ideas and a fresh perspective that sets it apart from existing solutions.
  • Technical Complexity
Technical complexity looks at the appropriateness and sophistication of the project’s technology. The solution should be advanced, robust, and well-suited to the educational problem, considering edge cases and ensuring reliability in diverse scenarios.
  • Sustainability
How sustainable is the project in terms of maintenance and scalability? Assess whether the project is designed for long-term use, including aspects like ease of updates, support, and the ability to handle increased demand or expansion over time.
  • Relevance
How well the project addresses the given theme.
  • Engagement
How interactive is the project for its users? Assess whether the project effectively captures and maintains the interest of its audience. A highly engaging project will involve interactive elements that promote active participation and sustained use.
