About REFLECT
REFLECT stands for Reflective Exploration Framework for Learning and Engagement in Critical Teaching.
This reflective tool was developed by the 2022 3M National Teaching Fellow cohort to encourage and facilitate reflection on teaching practice across a variety of dimensions.
This tool is meant to encourage and support critical reflection in a flexible manner and is suitable for all types of instructors, from novice to ones with more experience.
Please note that this tool is not intended to be used for making summative decisions on teaching effectiveness.
The development of this tool was supported by 3M Canada and the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
