I've found that with the news these days so continually awful, I've increasingly sought refuge in fic. Currently, I'm writing "En Plein Air" and revising "Can't Find My Way Home." I actually started revising the latter last year and got through Chapter Two, but I've since started over yet again. If you're particularly attached to how CFMWH reads now, I'd suggest maybe saving it off AO3 because I am going through and changing a lot. The story itself isn't going to change, but the mode and style sure is, and that's simply because I write differently now. I consider it weeding. I haven't posted the revised version yet, so there's still time. In related news, silvervalley has kindly agreed to design a cover for "En Plein Air." Color me excited!!

Don't you just love it when you post fic for the first time in a long time, and the comments you get are rude? One told me I have horrible run-on sentences & spent the rest of the comment telling me to correct that, using an example sentence that wasn't a run-on. The other was just stupid & probably another troll. Yes, great feedback! For fuck's sake.

Done with school as a student (for now). Drink some beer and grade essays tomorrow, but the master's is mine! Mwahaha!

Gonna work some more on my Game of Thrones fic series. Who doesn't like OT3? OT3 solves everything.

Saw Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and it was rad as hell. Kinda tempted to write something. Gave me feels for Yondu. Hmmm. Highly recommended! Great use of "The Chain." Plus, mmm, Kurt Russell.
