Adds gRPC experiments to the core Dockerfile to mitigate timeout issues found in grpc 1.66.0+. This only impacts the Python 3.13 container, as other Python versions can use the older gRPC versions.

Summary of Changes

Hello @jrmccluskey, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request addresses critical gRPC timeout issues encountered in Python 3.13 environments when using recent gRPC versions. By introducing specific experimental gRPC flags into the Python Dockerfile, the change aims to stabilize gRPC communication within these containers, ensuring reliable operation without impacting other Python versions that utilize older gRPC libraries.

Highlights

  • gRPC Experiment Flags: Added two new environment variables, GRPC_EXPERIMENTS and GRPC_ENABLE_FORK_SUPPORT, to the Python Dockerfile to enable experimental gRPC features.
  • Timeout Mitigation: These gRPC experiments are specifically introduced to mitigate timeout issues observed with gRPC versions 1.66.0 and newer, primarily affecting the Python 3.13 container.
