so i might as well start actually using this thing...
yeah...it looks like it's gonna be a really good few weeks for me :)
wednesday night, the boy and i are off to spend a few days in vegas...i'm really looking forward to that...i know it really hasn't been all that long since the last time we got away for a weekend (we went to nyc back in may) but it's been kind of a stressful few weeks, and i think we both need it...we fly out wednesday night, and come back first thing sunday mornign (i think technically we're leaving vegas saturday night, since we both work sunday night)
three nights of work, and then the birthday debauchery begins...a friend is coming up from new york on wednesday afternoon for 3 days of shopping and partying and just generally behaving like stupid teenagers...i'm really excited...haven't seen her since may, and i think we've both had a bit of a rough summer so far...it'll be good to get together and just be silly and girly and...stuff...
she leaves late on saturday night, then we're back for another round of working 3 nights...sometime the following weekend i think we're taking the boy's little ones back to school shopping, which should be kinda fun...might also turn into some back to school shopping for me if i can get some stuff sorted out in time ti actually make going back in september happen...we'll see...
and then on september first, i'm having my eyes fixed...fairly minor procedure, but it's still getting me a week and a half off work :)
