I just got an email from my manager. Apparently my clinic closed it's doors for good a little over an hour ago.

Pure fucking class guys. Seriously.

Soooooo....anyone out there in internet land want to hire a slightly used vet tech?

It's the middle of July. Why am I still FREEZING?

I think it might be nearing time for me to move south. Between the climate here, and all of the bullshit going on at work, a change might be nice...

And, on a somewhat related note, that I really REALLY want to get my hands on a leopard print ballgown? Preferably something very dramatic and over the top...

Yeah, that's right.

Last time, it was two full 8 hour days.

This time, one 3.5 hour day, and one 2 hour day.

Apparently I need to either seriously lower my expectations of humanity, or find a new career.

I've had jobs that didn't last very long before, but two days? Short days, at that...

That has to be some kind of record. Now I just need to figure out what I'm going to do instead.

So, I started a new job today. It's a bad sign when you're ready to lock yourself in the bathroom and cry before it's even lunch time, isn't it?

Now I've got a bit of a dilemma, in that I need a job, but I promised myself that I'd never again work at another job that makes me cry every day. Or even every week. But I don't even know where to start...I can't find a tech job that will actually just let me be a tech (I didn't go to school for all that time to play receptionist or kennel bitch, thank you very much). I'm a DAMNED good tech at that. And that about sums up my skill set. I mean, I'm good at pretty much everything I attempt (apart from customer service. I suck with people and I know that), but I don't have any experience at anything else.

So what the fuck do I do?

As long as I have time between my meeting and work, I'm getting tattooed tomorrow!

...of being so fucking sick!
