The U.S. Air Force and its allies face a readiness crisis. Manned aircraft will remain a military cornerstone well into the future, but the way we train our pilots is fundamentally outdated and broken. Today’s pilots are faced with a lack of adequate training, insufficient aircraft availability to meet minimal training requirements, and crippling resource constraints. The U.S. Air Force alone faces a staggering pilot shortfall.​
