Recommerce Intelligence

The AIM Group is excited to announce the launch of Recommerce Intelligence, a new service servicing the global recommerce industry.

Recommerce Intelligence analyzes market positions, trends and challenges in the growing market for the sale of secondhand, refurbished, returned and surplus inventory globally. (We’re also launching RecommerceBuzz, a conference about recommerce. More below.)

We’re covering a complete range of issues in recommerce — legislation, new sales models, fashion-furniture-phones, and more.

But we’ll emphasize “asset-light” businesses — the b-to-c and c-to-c marketplaces that generally don’t own inventory. They succeed by orchestrating trust, liquidity, logistics and customer acquisition.

Why? Because the interests of asset-light companies overlap strongly across verticals: customer acquisition and retention; trust and quality; logistics and reverse logistics; payments and finance, and more.

The fast-growing, wide-ranging recommerce industry encompasses all sorts of goods – baby products, luxury clothing, phones, computers, sneakers, watches and more.

It also includes companies providing financial management, tax compliance, cross-border operations, authentication, identity verification, logistics and shipping, and related tools.

The AIM Group

The AIM Group provides global business intelligence services — news and analysis, conferences and consulting — covering the automotive, real estate, recruitment and horizontal marketplaces and classified-advertisings segments. And now, we’ll bring you valuable information about recommerce, too. We’ve been at this for a while — almost 28 years — and have some of the deepest connections and contacts in the business. We know our stuff. And you should, too. Find out more at aimgroup.com

Recommerce Buzz
