Recolit is a puzzle and adventure game with pixel art in which you explore a town where it's perpetually night in search of lights to illuminate the darkness. After crashing your spaceship, you land in a place that looks like an ordinary town, but the sky is always dark and its inhabitants act as if nothing's wrong. Your goal is to help these people with their various requests as you progress through the story, guided by a mysterious girl.

In Recolit, you can walk through the streets of this dark town, interacting with NPCs who will request simple things like giving them a drink or playing with a pigeon, which will unlock new areas and clues. You can observe how the town's inhabitants maintain daily routines despite the total absence of sunlight, gradually revealing anomalies in their behavior and environment. Through interactions, you can collect everyday objects that can be used to fulfill their requests and open doors to new areas.

Solve puzzles based on light and objects

Most of the interactions require activating light sources scattered throughout the town, combining them with environmental objects to illuminate blocked paths or reveal what's hidden in the shadows. Some puzzles require dragging light sources to certain switches, reflecting them off surfaces, or turning them on in a specific sequence to progress. There are also other simple mechanics, such as lighting fireworks, pushing boxes, activating machines, and connecting glowing cables.
