Fandom Prezzies Come Early This Year!
The winners were announced over at the Sunnydale Memorial Fanfiction Awards! Many people on my flist were honored, including fandom stalwarts 
beer_good_foamy, bogwitch, lilachigh, lit_gal, and rahirah (Barb_C), one who has moved on to other fandoms goldenusagi, and relative newcomers red_satin_doll and baphrosia! Congratulations to all! Alas, some excellent stories and authors did not receive their due, as sometimes happens. I voted for you, sweeties!
I was thrilled that my story Whose Torment Is This, Anyway? received recognition in a few categories.It was a story that had languished for too long on my hard drive, but was finally finished due tobrutti_ma_buoni's motivational comm

Wow. I'm touched and kind of at a loss for words. This made the season brighter for me! Thanks to everybody who continues to participate in SMFA!
Thing is, I can't be at a loss for words for long, as mynoel_of_spike post is due soon! I ended up getting a bunny that was on the largish side, and I'm hoping that I can bang it into shape in time! It's firmly in alternate reality territory, so I've had to approach it a little differently. I focused first on getting the "important" scenes up and am worried that I will miss something when I go back to do transitions and smoothing. Anybody want to help beta this baby? *bats eyes* There might be cookies!
