RCS Remote is an application (app) for your phone or hand-held device that lets you control your NexGen Digital's station log. You can manipulate the log with play, pause, stop and fade and go. You can change the station you are controlling as well as switch between satellite, live assist and automated modes. Configure macros and record simple voice tracks directly into the system. RCS Remote directly saves changes into the automation system's library. Version History A few bug fixes. 1.02.02 12/11/2020 Updated to work better on iOS and iPadOS 13, plus fixed a few bugs. 1.02.01 07/07/2020 Added support for hardware newer devices as well as light and dark modes. 1.01.01 06/30/2020 16K fix for iOS 10. Previously, users were able to record at whatever sample rate they had selected. But after upgrading to iOS 10, all recordings were at 16,000 samples per second. This version should fix the problem and allow recording at the selected sample rate again. 1.0.12 01/19/2017 Fixed a couple of compatibility issues with iOS 8.0 and above. 1.0.11 04/11/2016 Numerous fixes for iOS 7, 8 and 9 compatibility. Added AAC support to the VoiceTrac recorder. Added support for 64-bit processors. Updated some of the graphics for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. 1.0.10 02/03/2016 - Fixed an issue where the application could act like it was locked up if it was trying to access a slow network connection (greater than 200 millisecond ping times) and the application was running on a multi-core device. Due to the slow network condition, the multiple cores could cause contention between the networking threads. - Fixed a problem where the application would not rotate on a device running iOS 6. - Added network status messages underneath the log event listing to show the current connection progress. - Cache the station list for quicker access. 1.0.6 02/09/2013 This version adds remote source and relay control. Note: An updated DLL must be installed in NexGen for this application to run. 1.0.5 09/07/2011 Corrected a few problems: - Fixed a couple of conditions where you couldn't VoiceTrac between an audio event and a non-audio event. - Fixed an insertion problem where multiple inserts may result in events in a different order than desired. - Fixed a problem when VoiceTracing around an event without a time would cause the VoiceTrac not to load. 1.0.4 05/17/2011 1.0.1 04/14/2011
