Rclone

Rclone is a command line app that allows you to manage your files and backups in the cloud or local network devices. The app supports more than 70 platforms and protocols, so you can use it to back up your PC, smartphone, or tablet to networked devices, either in the cloud or in your own home (through NAS or a local server).

Choose how to sync your backups

When using Rclone to create backups, important data, like checksums or the modification and creation dates of each file, are saved too. Synchronization can be restarted even when the connection is lost, or transfer limits are reached. Once the backup is complete, the integrity of the files can be checked. Syncs can be unidirectional (if you want to create a copy of a directory no matter what is stored there) or bidirectional (to synchronize the changes you make on one side or the other in real-time). If you prefer, you can enable local file deletion after synchronizing them with the cloud.

Rclone also allows you to encrypt backups, as well as restore and decrypt them directly to obtain usable files. You can also synchronize data between two cloud storage platforms without downloading it to your device. Similarly, you can also mount your cloud storage service as a disk on your device, so you can conveniently access it as if you had it physically connected.
