My RC history brings me back to the year 2000, where I saw a beautiful rc car from Tamiya. It was a Tamiya Ford F-150 SVT, scale 1:10 and four wheel drive on a TL-01 chassis. It was awesome, I wanted to have it but the only downside where the costs, it was so expensive for me! With all the money that I got from my birthday I bought the car, together with a sanyo 1700 mah batterypack. After that I had spent all of my money, but luckily my dad gave me a graupner 8 channel transmitter and other equipment like an batterycharger and servo’s. At that point, I got the RC virus!
When I fastforward to today, I still have the TL-01 chassis with the Ford F-150 body, but it didn’t stay with one car.. The loft of our house is completely filled with cars, boats and planes. The old TL-01 has found it’s place in a glass shelve, completely hopped-up with period hop-ups. The car that replaced the TL-01 is now a Tamiya TRF415 MSX MRE which is so much more hightech, but I would never sell my first car since it’s such a cool one.
I also have some cars which were from my dad, I will show you these in the near time. But for now, I will be posting more about the RC drifting scene. Since a couple of years I have been into RC drifting, and I absolutely like it! I will tell you why I like it in my first post.
So with so much to tell you, I decided to make a blog. I hope you read it and come back once in a while, since I want to update this blog on a regular basis. 🙂
Cheers,
