Raven utilizes a continuous loop recording system. While your vehicle is running, the cameras capture footage constantly. Once the SD card reaches its storage limit, the device automatically overwrites the oldest, non-essential footage with new video. Critical incidents, such as harsh braking or impacts, are automatically locked and uploaded to the cloud so they are never erased.
The exact duration of your local recording history depends on the size of your SD card and your chosen video quality settings. Maximum recording duration for standard storage options is 115 hours.
Yes. Because Raven connects directly into your vehicle’s OBD port, it maintains a constant power supply and remains active even when the engine is off.
While Driving: Raven continuously records your trip and monitors telematics data like speed, location, and driving behavior.
While Parked: When the ignition is turned off, Raven enters a power-saving security mode. Its always-on sensors continue to monitor the vehicle. If the car is bumped, moved, towed, or broken into, Raven instantly wakes up, records video footage of the event, and sends an alert directly to your phone or web dashboard.
Yes, but it is disabled by default. To respect and protect driver and passenger privacy, Raven ships with the microphone turned off. If you choose to use this feature, an administrator must manually enable audio recording through the Raven Web App settings.
