Evgeni Malkin and Animals: A Picspam
I've been wanting to do this picspam for awhile now, because I realized I have kind of a weirdly large number of pictures of Evgeni Malkin with animals. A picture of Geno with an animal is always one of two things: 1) ridiculous and hilarious or 2) the goddamn cutest thing you ever did see.

We start out with the slightly normal...Collapse )

Then things get kinda...non-traditional...Collapse )

And we're not limited to land here...Collapse )

Even when the animals aren't real...Collapse )

This is important to me.
The American Family Association has just launched a letter and call-in campaign to have the Luke/Noah storyline removed from the day time soap opera As the World Turns.

Procter & Gamble has set up a 1-800 number to poll responses. The number is 1-800-331-3774. [If prompted, press 1 for English/2 for Spanish -- you might not get this option.] Press 2 to get to that AtWT poll. Then press 1 to tell them you want the storyline to continue.

I don't even really watch the show, but I do watch the highlights on YouTube. It's not...I can't even really express how angry this makes me. It's not about whether you watch it or "want to see it" or what-thefuck-ever. It's about the fact that Luke and Noah are a couple on a soap opera and gay couples are real and are out there and are everywhere and are being portrayed on television as well they should be. Their storyline should not be stopped.

"You know what really gets me? Democrats didn't even win this thing, Republicans lost it. They ran away from the President. 'Hey, the ship's in trouble, let's drown the captain' We were this close to Jesus coming back. And you Republicans who turned your back on the president are going to to wander in the desert for the next two years. Literally, someone's going to have to replace those troops in Iraq. And don't think you're off the hook voters. You're the ones who made this bed, now you're the ones who are going to have to move over so a gay couple can sleep in it. Tomorrow you're all going to wake up in a brave new world. A world where the constitution gets trampled by an army of terrorist clones, created in a stem-cell research lab run by homosexual doctors who sterilize their instruments over burning American flags, where tax-and-spend Democrats take all your hard-earned money and use it to buy electric cars for National Public Radio and teach evolution to illegal immigrants."
